My LO loved the swing for a while but now she won't sit in it at all. I'm wondering if its just a phase or if she is just past the whole sitting and doing nothing thing.
How long did you use the swing?

My LO is 7 months and still goes in it occasionally when she needs some quiet time. But she has always loved the swing a lot.

We used our swing for about 7 months. For the first 4 months our swing was my lifesaver when the baby wouldn't sleep! She always fell asleep in it.

Until about 4.5 months ... he really only ever napped in it. And by that age, he was much too aware of everything around him to willingly submit anymore.

Never liked the swing but sits in his bouncy chair a lot. I think he hated being confined in it.

My lo also had a phase that she refused the swing. I waited a few weeks and tried again, and she likes it again.
