M had a fever for 3 days at the beginning of this week. She broke into a rash on Wednesday, it was more pronounced on Thursday and it's still there today. Now she is showing signs of a loose, phlegmy cough. She's only happy if someone is holding her - while standing. Even then she gets cranky. I feel so bad for her and helpless because I really shouldn't take any time off work right now. Even still, I may take the afternoon off if I feel like we need to make a return visit to the pediatrician.

I really thought she would be feeling better by now so, I'm starting to worry.
