and how old are they? Ours is 3.5 months and he almost always wakes up at 35-40 min. Sometimes I can get him to go back down but often he is up after that.

14 months and at daycare she takes one 2-2.5 hour nap.
On the weekends she takes 2 naps each ranging from 1-2 hours.

@travellingbee: At that age, her first nap was always 1.5-2 hours, and then 45-60 minutes after that. I remember there was one day where she woke up after 45 minutes, but i waited it out for 10 minutes...and she went back to sleep! From then on, i always waited 10-15 minutes to see if she'll go back on her own.
Now at almost 15 months, she naps for about 2 hours.

We had 20-30 minute naps until 4.5 months when they lengthened to 45. Around 5.5 they started to get longer and now its usually two one to one and a half hour naps a day since 6 months.
At that age I tried everything but it was just a developmental thing. He just had to grow out of it.

Xander's 4 months and his naps are anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours. But more often than not, they are on the short side. I would say they're usually around 30-45 minutes. We're lucky if he gets in 2 hours total in napping during the day!

10 months and he takes (2) 1-2 hour naps. It took us a loooong time to get here though. At 3.5 months, lo loved him a 30 minute nap and it was quite frustrating!
