6.5 years for my sister, 9 for me! My mom always says they wish they would have started right away, though.

Wow those are quick. We got pregnant after being married six months and had lo just after our first anniversary.

I was a shotgun baby, though I didn't find out until I was 24. They should have known I would find out one day!

My parents had a honeymoon baby! Sister was conceived 1-2 months after they got married.

they got married 4 months later, and proceeded to have 5 more children! they have now been married nearly 28 years!

Three years , I think? But they had several miscarriages, so I think they started trying a year after they got married.
We started trying two months before our first anniversary, conceived on our second cycle, ON our anniversary. -
Five and a half years. But I was still a surprise.

5 years until my brother came along (surprise); 12 years until I came along (planned); 15 years until my sister came along (super big surprise)
I always thought I wanted to wait five years before we started trying, but DD was born right after our second anniversary

Three years, took awhile to get pregnant with my sister.

They waited 10 years. They were "too young" when they got married (23 and 25), and wanted to "enjoy marriage first", per my mom haha.

they got married in december and i was born at the end of october, so one month!

7 months! They were 19 and 20 years old. My Dad tried to tell us that my older brother was an 8 lb preemie when we were old enough to figure out the math between his birthday and their wedding date!

@LemonLong: At least your parents told you their actual wedding date! My parents lied and we celebrated their "anniversary" on the wrong date every year! (Ironically, they told us they got married on 4/1--April Fool's Day.)

7 months. They were engaged but decided to get married sooner when they found out my mom was pregnant with me.

2 years...I'm following my mom's life plan almost exactly - engaged at 25, married at 26, baby at 28! Interestingly, DH will be 30 when our first baby comes - the same age as his father was when he had DH.
