My sister said she had to keep buying larger bras because she kept outgrowing them.

None.
I bought 4 bras for nursing, but didn't need anything new during pregnancy.
I also got rid of the nursing bras ASAP.

I bought 4 at around 17 weeks. None of my old ones fit at that point, as I'd gone up two cup sizes. I've bought bra extenders since, but haven't bought anything else. If I grow anymore in the next 6 weeks, I'll need new bras for sure. But I'll probably go with sleep nursing bras because they are more forgiving of size changes than regular cup bras.

None, my boobs didn't really get bigger until LO was born. My rib cage did get wider though, so I just bought the cheap band extender. I hate spending money on bras, especially if I don't know if I'm going to wear them for the long haul!

I didn't buy any. My bras got tighter, but not a full cup size tighter. It was uncomfortable towards the end, but not horrible.

So many. I went from a 32D from before I got pregnant to like a 36G right after I gave birth.

I switched to coobies, and the full size got me all the way through last time. They're growing way faster this time though. If it doesn't slow down I'll have to find something bigger.

I didn't need to buy any new bras till after LO arrived. I bought a couple of nursing bras, tanks, and new sports bras.

I ended up wearing sports bras - not the super tight kind. The kind that is stretchy and is a shelf type bra. It was the only thing I could stand and it grew with me.

I switched to sports bras by 22 weeks for both pregnancies, no regrets I have nursing bras but only wear them when it's time, I hate them.

I started as an A cup and ended spilling out of DD, so....a bunch!

None. I wore Coobie bras 99% of the time (they're mostly one size fits all). My boobs also didn't grown significantly until after I had LO and my milk came in.

too many! I grew out of my reg bras by the end of the 1st tri, So i bought 2-3 at target plus a sports bra with molded cup (That i lived in forever, but is probably the reason my boobs are so saggy) After like 2 weeks of wearing those bras I hated them, they pinched, my boobs would fall out of them, at one point i took the underwires out of them. In the 3rd tri i started stocking up on nursing bras that i would find on the clerance rack at target. of the three of those only one really fit me and made it until we weaned. i bought 2 of the motherhood racerback soft cup bras right after i delivered and they were great for a month or 2 until i started losing weight and my rib cage got smaller.
If i were to do it all again after the 1st tri i would have went to a place like soma and got fitted and bought 2 bras for pregnancy and again 6-8 weeks after delivery and get fitted for nursing bras

None so far, and I'm 24+6 right now. My boobs haven't changed one bit.

I held out for longer than I should have (as in my nipples were coming completely out of my bras ) and finally bought bigger sizes somewhere in the late 20-something weeks. Then, underwire eventually became unbearable so I bought some Coobies. I've really enjoyed those (so stretchy!!) for postpartum, too. I probably should have skipped the bigger underwire size and gone straight to the Coobies.

None, but things did get a little uncomfortable at the end. I bought 3 nursing bras after.

One. I had to buy one with a larger band size but I waited until I couldn't stand it anymore (28ish weeks!)

@bluestriped bee: Yay! So glad they worked out. I'm still wearing mine at 3.5 months postpartum--not all the time, but they're still really nice to have.

None... Well I did buy Coobies once I stopped fitting regular bras and I didn't want to keep doing it! And after I gave birth i went to wireless nursing bras so I still have no clue what size I am!
