Since I was 18,
1st job out of college for one year then moved away.
2nd job for 2 years? Company was going south; boss was a DB so I left.
3rd job almost four years got laid off.
4th job boss was a absolute douche left after a month?
5th job did not feel like a great fit and was approached by current firm. Left after 3 months?
6th and current job!

2! One job in college and my current job.

I'm counting "adult" to mean out of college. So I have had two. And that is only because we moved states.

Since graduating from college - 2.

First place was where I interned at the previous summer and they offered me a full time job upon completion.

Second place is where I'm at currently. We went through a joint venture and assumed a new company name so it looks like 3 places, but it's still the same people and same office.

I have had 2 full time jobs so far! my first one I was at for 2 years, and my current job, I have been here for a little over 1 year.

Since I was 18, I've had 7 jobs (8 if you count being a SAHM). Since graduating with my BA, I've had 3.

Only counting my "career" jobs post-law school (and not the first temp/contract gig), I'm on job #4. You wanna talk about moving around... 13 months, 6 months (position eliminated corporate-wide), 13 months, currently 16 months and counting!

Your job history doesn't sound bad at all! I have just been at 1 company for nearly 9 years but I have had 3 positions.

If I go by since I turned 18, it's 5 jobs. If I go by graduating from undergrad, it's 3. (I voted 5 in the poll.)

I voted 4 since graduating college but have since thought of two more. I'm currently looking for one that I can stay in for a while now!

Since 18:
subway (1.5 years)
live-in nanny (1 year)
live-out nanny (2.75 years)
retail (6 months... I hated it)
school district (1 year)
clinic (where I am now, 2 months)

I hope to stay where I am for a very long time! Most of my coworkers have been there over 5 years and there is a huge section of parking just for 25+ year employees! It's a place you can really move up.

Only counting the ones since I graduated with my Bachelor of Commerce:

1) horrible golf course job right out of school after we moved to a town for DHs job (then BF). HORRIBLE! (May - Sept)
2) part time at a part supply company doing A/R (Sept-Jan)
3) same time as above part time at TD Bank as a CSR (Sept - April)
4) Current job I've been in for 2 years as an Account Executive.

I've had four jobs since college, I guess? They kinda overlap at times, because some of them are like Hellobee... family businesses where I don't draw a salary.

Only 1 - been there 10 years. And I don't think 6.5 years is short at all. If they were all 2 year stints, then that would be different.

Starting w/ when I graduated w/ my BA:
1. Bridal Consultant (2 yrs) - worked here during school year while getting my masters
2. Reading Instructor (3 summers)- Seasonal during summers while getting masters
3. Textbook company rep (1 school year)- Got teaching job
4. Teacher (1 school year) - Contract not renewed
5. Textbooks company rep (2 months) - same as above, put just filler job
6. Merchandising (few weeks) - filler job
7. Bridal Shop Manager (9 months)- Boss was psycho
8. Dry Cleaning - Still at - Nearly a year so far

I'm my defense, we also moved 3 times which affected where I worked.

Since college, one, but it was only for a year and then I got pregnant and then had lo and should be returning to the working world soon.

I have never had a full time job (besides being a mum). I was a nanny and worked at the YMCA during college. After college I had R and became a SAHM.
