My parents had 2 girls; my DH's parents had a boy and a girl. We're pretty sure we plan to be one and done, or maybe adopt much farther down the road.

Parents had 3--2 boys and a girl. I think I'd be okay with 4 if we could swing it financially and had a larger house.

My parents had 3, boy, girl, boy. I guess I technically have the same.
This will be my second living baby, and even though I'm done being pregnant, we're hoping to be able to adopt one more later on.
But, I'd be ok if these 2 are it for us.

My parents had 5 and DH's parents had 2. We want 3 biological and 2 adopted, so 5.

My parents had one child, and I want at least two. I did not enjoy being an only child.

Both our parents had 3 kids. We thought we wanted 3, but we're pretty sure we're stopping at 2.

My parents had 2 - one of each. That's what the hubby and I want also, but if we double up, we'll try for a third, but that's it!!!

@Mrs. Bee: My mom medically could only have 2. I'm not sure if whe wanted more. I would like 2 or 3, it depends on whether my heart can handle that many pregnancies.

My mom had 3, his mom had 4. I would like 3..he would like 4. We'll see how that changes once we actually have children though!

We both come from families of 3 children, we are undecided at this time between 2 and 3. I would be fine with 2 but DH is stuck on three. I think the gender of the next one might help us decide if we try for a 3rd.

Parents-3 (2 girls/1 boy)
DH's parents-2 (1 boy/1 girl)
We're in between 2 or 3. We have yet to decide.
