Most of my friends have 3 kids. They all wanted 3 and said they felt complete with 3. We're all done having kids now.
I always wanted 2.

A few years ago, 0 was the most common. Now it's 1. A few friends have 2 kids, but mostly twins. I know I'm in the minority of people in their 30s, but in our social circle, no kids or one and done are the most prominent!

Most of my friends who are done having kids have 2.

Most are done at 2. When they found out we were pregnant with #3 the most common question was "were you trying for another?!?"

Most of my friends don't have kids yet. We're all late 20s, and I'm the first to have kids. Most who we do know who do have kids, stop at two. I nannied for a family with 3 kids, and most of their friends thought they were crazy.

In my immediate and extended family, 4-5 is most common. So even though we have 3, we are constantly asked by family when we will have more.

Most of the people in our social circle are at the point of going from one to two - a few are trying, two are pregnant and a few have toddlers and babies. We have two friends with twins, too. I only have one friend with three children and, overwhelmingly, the feeling I that she's mad (in a nice way)!

Our friends range from having 1-3 kids. I don't really have any friends that have more than 3. I also have a few single girlfriends that don't have children.

0! I wish we had more friends with kids, especially locally, but most of our closest friends are single., I love having play dates but it just doesn't happen often, as most of the ones that do have kids don't live nearby

Most people have 1 or 2. I don't have any friends with more than that. We do know one couple with two that would like a third, but with the cost of daycare they don't think it will happen.

Mostly 2. I have two good friends who are 1 and done. And then one friend who was trying for a third and got an extra! So they'll have a 4 year old, a 20 month old, and newborn twins.

Mostly 2. I only know one person with 1, and one person with 3. Most of my friends are done having kids now, so it seems like 2 will remain the most common amount.

Mostly two kids. Some might go for a third, but it seems that in NYC most are done at two (for obvious reasons).

My friends are mostly on their first, but the general consensus is everyone plans on 2. My sister and DH's 3 siblings each have 2. We are thinking 1 or 2.

Everyone has one now. But I think most (not us) are planning for two eventually!

Most of our friends are just having their first child now. Only one friend has two children. I think most of our friends want two eventually. I've always wanted three, but we'll see what happens.

Even though we're all in our 30s, most of us have either just had or are pregnant with our first. We all went to some form of grad school, married later, etc.
