DH was always leaning toward one and done. He really liked being an only child. I wanted two, but after the colicky newborn phase he's firmly in the one camp and I'm happy to go along with that.

0! I want 2, so LO was a compromise. I still secretly hope he will change his mind.

We have four and I don't think DH can even begin to fathom more kids. I would like to adopt again but not anytime soon. I don't know if that will actually happen.

Two with no doubt... If it was up to me, we'd negotiate about a third... Bit he is very firm about it and I am fine with it.

DH wants more but bc we've been blessed with two healthy kids, we are stopping now.

I think he'd happily have ten. If I weren't infertile, I can see him loving a big, huge family. As it is, I think we'll be done with two, if we can manage the second one.

I had to really talk him into conceiving this one, our first. I think if I said, "DH, I think I want to be one and done." He would be totally fine with it.
But I want 4 or more. Lol I think he will let me have as many children as I want (within reason) but he will need some persuading each time.

Initially DH wanted 2, and I wanted 3. Then we actually started a family, and I'm very content with having 2.

DH wants to stop at 2 for sure. mostly driven by financials I think, and fear of zone defense. he was an only child, not an unhappy one, so probably could have been happy with 1 but I want siblings. I currently think about having 3 but know it may never happen, due to DH's preference and our TTC issues. don't think gender is a huge factor, LO is a girl and DH is happy to be a girl dad I think.

DH jokes that he wants 8 so we can have our own soccer team! He is one of 8 and grew up with lots of cousins around and I am one of 4. I would like to have 3-4, both bio and adopted, so we will probably do 3 and see how we feel after that.

We both want 3, but we'll take a few years off in between #2 and #3 so we don't have all 3 in college at once!

my DH seriously wants 10, he only has two siblings but is from a huge family. I want 3-4 and I think we will end on my end of the spectrum
@stine_ciro: Mine wants his own soccer team too!

Originally he said two and then he tried to get me to agree to one after our son was born but I always said I wanted children and siblings so two is my minimum, God willing. Two seems to be his max. I secretly wish for twins sometimes but I'm also starting to feel like I could be pretty satisfied with two little ones.

I think DH would have been content with 1, but we agreed on 2, who is on the way.
