I always had a vision of having 3 kids, since I was younger I always said I wanted to have 3 kids. Well...now I have two kids and that is plenty enough for me. I don't know if it's just because I am struggling with the terrible 3's and them always fighting or what.

I am always open to any number. However, I get extremely sick with HG, that's the only thing that ever made me reconsider!

I always wanted 2, and have 2, but I don't think that we are complete and need one more. Both our parents had 3 so I think we are destined too!

I have two, pregnant with three, always wanted four. My delivery with three will probably make the decision on four for us. We'll see.

I always wanted more than one but no more than 4... so the number would be either 2, 3 or 4. I always kind of thought 3. I have 2 right now and I'm on the fence on having a 3rd but we won't be able to have another one for a while. So we have a lot of time to think about it.

We both always pictured three, but then reality set in, and we figure we can't realistically afford 3, so we're settling for 2.
ttc #2 right now.

I used to think 3 would be nice, but my husband wasn't even sure about 1 so we agreed to 2 and we'll see how it goes after that. Now we have 1 and 2 will be the maximum. He isn't sold on 2 even though he loves being a dad.

I always wanted 4. DH is not on board, though, and it makes better sense for us to stop with two. My second and last baby is due in March

I always wanted 3.... then I had one thought, perhaps, I nay stop at 1! Now I'm expecting #2, I'm pining for 3 again.
DH wants 2 so I expect we will stop at 2.

@Bao: Same as you. I always thought 3 but am feeling pretty content with 2. There was a 6 month window where I said we'd have to conceive our 3rd if there were to be one and it starts next month. I'm not ready so we may just be done.

It depends on how long it takes to get pregnant with #2. I've always wanted 4 growing up (I'm the youngest of 4) but I am just taking it one baby at a time

We wanted at least two, possibly 3, as many as 4. Physically pregnancy is brutal on me so we are done with 2 bio kids but would be open to fostering or adopting later on if it's in the cards for us.

I always wanted 2 (dh wanted 6) but I changed my mind after having 1 to being one and done. We have 2. And we're done.

I also always wanted 3 but I'm feeling maxed at 2. At least with this age gap. Maybe I'll change my mind but right now I'm done. Its not just the kids either. My body is taking awhile to adjust hormonally and I'm just done!

I never really dreamt of being a Mother. I warmed up to the idea when it was clear how badly DH wanted it. Now that 1 is going well I expect we will have another- he said he would not be opposed to 3. I doubt that will happen.

I always figured I'd have more then 1. Currently have my hands full with 2. My husband wants more, maybe when they are a bit older
