I had one with my first thrown by a really good friend and MIL. None on my side because it's not customary. No showers / sprinkles for my second.

2 showers for me (expecting my first)! But our families are awfully large, so there was one with DH's family thrown by his aunt and cousin; and one with my side of the family + a few friends, thrown by my mom and sis.

2 for my first (one of which we attended via Skype...!). Doesn't look like any for my second, even though he's our first boy.

None. Showers make me uncomfortable (bridal and baby). I went out to lunch with family instead (no gifts). We live multiple states away so I just wanted a reason to get people together. Literally just lunch. It was perfect.

I kind of had one. I was supposed to have one and then my grandfather fell ill and passed away the morning it was supposed to be held. We ended up opening gifts in my grandmother's basement with my entire extended while everyone drank too much. It was an unusual event.

my girlfriends in the town i live in nowso 4. it was a little over the top...we had SO MUCH stuff.

It will end up being three (for my first baby). My in-laws threw us a tiny one with family that lives near them, my aunt hosted a local one (mostly my side of the family), and I know that something is brewing at work.

Two! One thrown by my sister and friends, and one at work.

A family one and a work one for our first. My work surprised me with a shower for my second (I changed jobs in between pregnancies. New job much more baby-crazy!)

Two for my first - a ladies only family and friends one thrown by my MIL and a co-Ed one thrown by my co-workers but held on a weekend outside of work.
