My LO cut his first tooth at 4.5 months and then his second the next week. (His two front bottom teeth.) He's now 11.5 months old and hasn't cut any since! I know teeth come in in all kinds of different patterns at different times for each baby but is this not weird? I'm starting to think he doesn't have any more teeth in his head! (Ok, that's not really possible, right?!) 
So, how many teeth did your LO have when they turned 1 year?

Both of my kids were early teethers. My son had 8 teeth at 12 months and my daughter as 12! Four on top, four on the bottom and 4 molars!

At 12 months-- 2 (the bottom ones)
At 13 months-- 6 (plus the top 4!)

DD is about the same age as your lo, 11 months, and she has 2 so far, but I think she'll definitely have the bottom center four by her first birthday. They come in incredibly slow.

@jmarionsmith: yes, totally weird how the human body works-- no teeth for months and then BOOM! 4 at once. i don't think you have to worry about LO not having any more teeth in his head

Not there yet, but DS is just about 10 months old and still has no teeth!

11 months and just cut his first two over the past month. At this rate he won't have any more until he's nearly 2!

6 - 4 top and 2 bottom.
Now at almost 15 months he has those 6 plus his top two molars are half out. His bottom molars are almost cut now too. But he still hasn't got his bottom lateral incisors. Every child is so different!

I'm sort of jealous of moms who have toothless babes! My LO is 8 mo, has 4 teeth, and bites while nursing about every other day! Yowzers!

@78h2o: @jmarionsmith: Yep. She also has just a little bit of hair (although not enough for a bow!), so she still looks really young! I like to believe it's because DH and I probably won't have another child, so I get to keep my baby for just a little longer.

Only 2! From what I've read in the boards my kid has to be the slowest. At 2 years he only had 12, and at 2.5 he still has teeth coming in.

She had 12 by her first birthday. At 16 months all she has left are her 2 year molars. No idea why her teeth came in so quickly, but all that teething back-to-back was horrendous.

he's got 2 on top and 2 on bottom at 12 months. I think I can feel 8 more coming through though O_o -- 4 on top and 4 on bottom so maybe by 13 months he'll have 12?
he started pretty late too, didn't get his first tooth til 8 months!

LO has 7 teeth at almost 12 months. I think he's cutting some tougher ones. He just walked for the first time yesterday and was doing his teething routine. 12 months old is looking to be fun!

@jmarionsmith: yeah, I was pretty worried but all my mommy friends told me don't worry about. They said when she starts teething, they'll all come in at once. They were right... LO cut 4 teeth at once followed by 4 more. Our pedi said at LO's one year appt, to wait a couple months and if still no teeth, she would refer us to a dentist and an endocrinologist.
