For dinners that is.
We probably eat fish 3x a week, beef 2x a week, chicken 2x a week, and we don't eat pork (except bacon and sausages for breakfast). Oh and we never eat vegetarian, but I'd like to once a week!
What about you?

An Average week is:
2x Beef
3x Chicken
1x Fish
1x Pork
We never eat vegetarian, my DH would have a cow, he's very much a meat and potatoes kind of guy, so the fact that I have introduced chicken and fish as much as I do is a success.
wonderful pear / 26210 posts
I made a 6 week rotating meal plan that had beef, poultry, fish, pork, vegetarian non-pasta, pasta and vegan categories. One night each during the week.

I don't eat red meat, so 99% of my meals are vegetarian! I do eat chicken once in awhile, though, but not fish.
Chloe and DH eat chicken a lot, and once in awhile they'll eat beaf. We almost never buy pork. DH will cook fish every few weeks in the summer.

I try to mix it up as much as possible. Our main focus isn't so much on the type of protein we eat, but on its quality (we prefer naturally raised, pastured, grass-fed meats and wild-causght, cold water, fatty fish).
On average it probably breaks down to:
-Fish 1-2x/week
-Chicken 2-3x/week
-Beef 1-2x/week
-Pork 1-2x/week
-Vegetarian - regularly at lunch, almost never at dinner

We end up eating mostly chicken... we usually have steak around 1-2 a week. We never eat vegetarian and we very rarely eat fish.
hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts

Chicken the most.. probably 3-4 times. Never fish. Beef once or twice. Pork once, but hopefully more because I just realized how much i like it!
GOLD / wonderful pea / 17697 posts
Vegetarian 4-5x a week, chicken maybe 1-2. Once or twice a month I make pork or steak or fish but those aren't part of the usual rotation.

watermelon / 14206 posts
It varies...I usually do chicken at least twice, and pork at least twice. Beef is usually once, and then we usually get take out on Sat and Sun, so that just depends on what we're in the mood for.
blogger / eggplant / 11551 posts
We never do vegetarian because DH doesn't feel like a meal is complete without some sort of protein. Our breakdown is probably 4x chicken, 3x beef. We eat pork and fish too, but not weekly.
pomegranate / 3105 posts

Hmmm...
I'd say it goes like this:
Fish - 1 to 2x per week
Chicken/turkey - 2 to 3x per week
Vegetarian - 1 to 2x per week
Beef - 1x per week, more like 1x every other week
Pork - 1x every other week
cherry / 233 posts
Fish/seafood - 1
Chicken/turkey - 1
Beef/pork - 1 or 0
Vegetarian - 4 or 5
I was vegetarian for 14 years so our diet is heavily influenced by that. I'm still figuring out what to cook on non-vegetarian meal nights, but I'm pretty happy with this distribution.
eggplant / 11287 posts

vegetarian at least 1-2 times a week (and most of my lunches are vegetarian)
Pork and chicken rotate about 1x a week each.
The only red meat we eat is steak, and that's once every couple weeks.

We eat chicken the most because it's less expensive to buy organic and it's a leaner meat-4-5x a week.
Beef-Maybe 1x a week on occasion.
Fish-At least 1x a week.
Pork-1x a week (got to have my bacon).
Vegetarian- Never. My husband and 2 year old are meat and potato kind of guys. If I made a meatless meal, I'd be the only one eating it.
