Depends. If within a certain group a price point has been pre-established then I try to stick within that. But if our really good friends, we see weekly, had kids I would be ready to spend $100 per kid. That's what I've been forcing myself to stick within for the nieces and nephews; now that there are 6 of them!

@regberadaisy: I definitely spend a little more on nieces and nephews!

I usually spend about $15 to 30 but that's just because the toys are that expensive. Good news is I don't know that many kids!

$30. I have a standard gift I am giving this year, two tickets to the local childrens museum.

I try to look on deal sites or go to stores that have a lot of clearance cause I don't like paying more than $10 on kids gifts. I don't have any nieces or nephews though and we don't make much money and all the kids we know are pretty young so we're def not spending a lot on kids gifts.

Depends on our relationship with them. We've spent as little as $20 and as much as $100.

Around $20-25 for my friends. I'd go up to $50-60 for a good friend's or family member's child.

$10 for chip in gifts (usually for my mom's group, as it gets pricey), $30-$40 for friends, and $50-60 for really good friends.

Usually no more than £20 which includes family members. The LO's are still young and have no idea how much things cost. Our nieces get so many birthday gifts we don't see the point in getting more than one or two items.
