With my last pregnancy I spotted a lot beforehand BFP. I thought I was getting my period so I used a tampon and the next day it still hadn't really shown up so I took a test. That sweet baby is almost 5 months old now! Good luck

@LindsayInNY: I spotted about two days before I took the test. I'm afraid I don't know how many dpo I was. I took a test in a Tuesday and it was negative, my BFP was sat night. I was spotting heavy enough that I thought AF was coming. I was probably red ish with a brown tint. Nothing that made me think I was pregnant. I also kept spotting for a few days after.

I spotted at 9 DPO and it was red and just once. I was positive AF was coming.

I spotted quite a bit - enough that I thought AF had arrived. It started at 11 dpo and lasted 4 days. I used tampons but It was never heavy and got a little lighter over the days, which should have tipped me off, but what made me test was that my temps were still elevated at 16 dpo.. LO will be here in about 2 weeks.

Started spotting at 8 DPO, lasted through 15 DPO. Faint BFP at 9 DPO, and then it got stronger. Some days of spotting were light enough to only need one panty liner (and brown), other days I had a big red clot or two that made me think I was having a CP, but it tapered off after 15 DPO. It was very similar to my previous two periods, so had I not been testing for pregnancy I probably would have "missed" the BFP entirely.

BFP#1 - no spotting
BFP #2 that ended in blighted ovum - bright red spotting at 11 dpo then changed to brown until 13-14dpo. It then disappeared and I tested at about 18dpo and it was a BFP. I then started spotting bright red at 20dpo and then changed to brown for a few days and was diagnosed with a blighted ovum at 7w.

With BFP #1, ended in mc, I had red spotting from 9DPO on. It turned to brown and did taper off but I lost that pregnancy at 7 weeks. BFP was at 12DPO but I didn't check sooner.

With LO I spotted from 8DPO. It was also red at times but mostly brown, but it was enough for a panty liner and almost every time I wiped. It lasted well into week 7 as well and everything turned out fine. Oh, I got BFP at 10DPO.

With both pregnancies, I had really slight spotting. Both times it was pink, and I would have missed it entirely if I wasn't charting. I only saw it once each time when I wiped before using the bathroom.

@LindsayInNY: FX for you! I had spotting at 9dpo and 13dpo and it was the tiniest bit of red spotting when I wiped. I got my BFP at 14dpo

@LindsayInNY: I'd say 95% brown. Like I said, one or two biggish spots of red, but beyond that it was brown-brown-brown.

@LindsayInNY: Have you tested, it is such a road.......... but will be worth it!

@LindsayInNY: it does go by fast.... other days I feel like it drags, but yeah we found out April 7th........crazy!

@LindsayInNY: I hope the new job is treating you well! My sister in law had spotting in the first weeks of her pregnancy & was monitored during that time. They monitored both her HCG & progesterone to make sure it was fine while she continued to spot. I am really hoping that's the case for you as well! Go POAS please.
