If I'm going to eat an apple, I usually run it under water for a few seconds and then wipe the outside down with a towel. The whole thing takes me 10 seconds tops.

I was pretty surprised when I saw Bee wash an apple. She did such a thorough job! It made me realize that we have very different standards for cleaning fruit. Inspired by her example, I have roughly doubled the amount of time I spend washing a piece of fruit.

How much time do you spend washing each piece of fresh fruit? Do you just use water, or do you use something else (soap? vinegar?) to wash them off?
