Ugh, I used to love my designer denim pre-baby.
My body is totally different, bigger hips, non-existent butt so the cuts I used to wear don't work anymore. Not to mention I'm always yo-yo-ing 10lbs in either direction. I've been getting Express jeans on sale for the past 4 years. $50.

@Bao: hold out for a sale & the also combine coupons! I just got a pair of the leggings jeans reg. $79 for $24 shipped last month. It was a 50% off sale + free shipping and $15 off of $30 coupon. They have this sale all the time.

@rachiecakes: woah!!! I don't really shop there so don't keep up on the sales, if you see one and remember can you let me know?! that would be awesome. Should I sign up for emails, is that how you get coupons?

I tend to wait for BOGO 50% off sales etc. and buy at Torrid, they fit me the best! I think the one full price I bought sans 2nd pair at half off was $70?

$200-$250 is my limit. Jeans are the single piece of clothing I wear the most so I'm willing to spend $$$ to get great fitting ones. That being said, I find great deals on brand name jeans at Nordstrom Rack. Usually under $100.

Jeans are one of my luxury items. I have one nice pair that cost $80 on sale. I just ordered another pair on deep sale for $60 and was psyched to find them so cheap.

I only get jeans at old navy so whatever they charge. I can't wear jeans to work and I would rather wear leggings at home or running errands so I usually have one cheap pair of ON jeans for other occasions.

Pre-kid/mortgage/all these additional responsibilities - I had no problem spending $200 on a pair of jeans
Now - I haven't spent over $40 in years. My favorites are ON elastic band jeggings that I got for $15. They fit so well!

I just had to finally retire my favourite DKNY jeans that I think I've worn probably 2000 times in the six years I've had them! I loved them and I think they were $60 at Macy's, which is about the norm for what I've always spent on normal jeans. Other than that, I buy my skinny jeans at H&M for £20 ($35 USD) and they fit great.
I'll be in the market for a new pair after this baby/breastfeeding journey and will be happy to spend up to £100 but not more than that. My frugal nature just won't let me!

I've spent $70 a few times, but I usually average around $50. Even then I have to reeeeeallly like them. Maybe once my weight evens out after having kids I'll spend more on some quality pieces.

I've never spent more than $40. It's hard finding a pair that fit well after kids, so maybe I'll take a look at second hand and sales. Still can't see myself spending over $80 and I'd have to be majorly in love with them.
