Every day I have to sweep, vacuum, clean the bathroom and dust (takes about an hour). I also do 2 loads of laundry a day but that's not really cleaning. Once a week I deep clean the house, that takes about 4-6 hours.

Dishes are obviously daily, but I don't think we do anything else daily. I do Wagon Jr.'s laundry once a week (Sunday nights), our laundry about once every two weeks, linen laundry about once a month, dog laundry about once every two months.

We have a cleaning service once a month for the floors, kitchen, bathrooms, and all that. We just had our last service though. My mom's coming this Saturday and I'm hoping between me and her we'll be able to keep up!

our cleaning lady comes twice a month and does an awesome job. i really don't clean at all in between when she comes...but i know that will change once the baby comes!

Wow, we must be messy! I have to clean every other day (sweep and mop, laundry, organize). Today we cleaned for like two hours while the kids were napping and I swear that you can hardly tell now. Oh and I hate folding clothes! I still have two loads in baskets, even though I already folded two loads today!

I try to maintain on a daily basis with kitchen/organizing. As far as vacumming? 2x a month? As far as cleaning our ceramic floors weekly?

We clean weekly as follows:
Tuesday: vacuum living room, all bedrooms and stairs; dust living room and bedroom occasionally (we don't do this nearly enough)
Wednesday: clean kitchen includes sweeping/mopping the floor and foyer floors; take out trash
Thursday: clean all 3 bathrooms including floors

However, since we have a cat and a Newfoundland we additionally vacuum the living room as needed.

I have someone come in twice a month which is a huge help. Right now with my energy being down and PG I might have her come once a week. We do animal Rescue so we have a lot of our own pets plus fosters. So Vacuum and floors are done daily. Basic clutter tidy up daily as well too.

Wow, I feel super-lazy! I'd say we do laundry once every 10 days or so. Dishes is daily, obviously, and I try to do the kitchen counters and stove daily. We vacuum once a week since we have a cat. But we do pretty much every thing else once or twice a month. It's just the 2 of us, though.

We really should vacuum and mop every day or every other day. Really, it only gets done at most once a week like all the other chores. Well, except dishes and laundry, which we have to do on a daily basis.

I clean thoroughly twice a week. I straighten up and do the dishes daily. And laundry gets done once a week.

@Boogs: we need to vacuum and mop at least every other day too but usually do it once a week. ESP now that olive is crawling, we have to step it up. Amazing how messy your house gets with 2 kids!

Daily. We have 3 kids soon to be 4 so I'm cleaning all day pretty much every day. I "deep" clean each room on a schedule though. Monday is kitchen day, Tuesday Bathrooms (we have 3), Wednesdays all bedrooms (sheets, blankets, etc.), Thursdays living rooms (we have 2), Friday walkway and laundry room. On all days I straighten everything up, vacuum, clean anything that is dirty, and do a minimum 2 loads of laundry. I also find myself doing dishes at least 3-4 times daily. Having anything in the sink really bothers me.

How often we NEED to clean is a lot different from how often we ACTUALLY clean. Once a week I do the floors and dust (we have laminate and throw rugs so I vacuum everything and use the crevice tool and then use Bona spray every other week, or more frequently if we have guests), but there is already plenty of hair and dust everywhere from the dog and cat just a day or two after doing it. Also once a week for the toilets and stainless steel appliances (I should do them more frequently). I spray the kitchen counters after every time we cook, and then do a "remove everything and spray the ENTIRE counters" every other week. We have far too many clothes, so I can get away with laundry every other week but I have no illusions that will stay the case once bebe is here. I hate cleaning so much and would rather live with it during the week, when I'm rarely home, then spend a couple of hours every Sunday doing it.

ETA: We try to straighten up every day and run the dishwasher roughly every other day, and not leave things in the sink overnight.
