My BFFs for life (think bridal party) are all scattered. I have a couple in town (but they are no longer friends with one another) which makes it hard for me, though I still try to individually. And the rest are in 3 diff states.
My MOH came into town last minute and came over yesterday, which was a nice surprise for DH and I both!
I'm planning on wknd trips to see the others in the next cpl of months.
All this to say, that I only get to see my BFFs a handle of times a year. Makes me

I really just have one BFF and I see her a handful of times a year. She lives on the opposite coast! I got to see her this week, actually, and I'll see her again in Sept. for her wedding, but who knows after that. Mainly holidays...

I see 4 of them at least once a month, the other one (MOH) lives further away so we try to see each other every couple months! I always get so excited when we get to hang out.

I see my BFF since age seven 1-2 times a week. We go to zumba together every week and we usually get together every other weekend or so.

My best friends are completely scattered - I'm in Alberta, one is in BC (1-hr plane ride), another is in Ontario (3.5-4 hr plane ride) and the last is in South Africa. I probably get to see them once a year if I'm lucky. Thankfully, they are all amazing and they all came to visit me in the past month. I 
them so much!

Most of my closest girlfriends still live pretty close to me so I do get to see them maybe once every two weeks for lunch with our husbands and kids. Girls night out, however, maybe once every couple months?

I see my BFF 2-3x a week really because she's one of my clients and we just collaborate on a lot of things.
My other close friends, I see them once or twice a month. Their schedules are all over. I think all four of them work nights right now.

My BFF - maybe a handful of times a year. We live in different states that require weekend work. We text each other every single day though. She's currently pregnant; and when her hubby comes home, after asking how the baby was today, he asks his wifey what I'm up to today. hahahaha!!
My really close, could be considered best friends that we live near, we see each other on a weekly basis over our favorite hobby - eating!!!

I see my BFF once a week or once every 2 weeks. She lives 10 minutes away and we may be buying a house in her neighborhood later this year (fingers crossed!). The hardest thing is getting together when we both work full time and I have an 8 month old.

Not often enough. A handful of times. They both live in the same province but on opposite ends. I'm going up to see one of them next month for her birthday and I try to go visit the other doing day trips when the weather is nice during the summer.

@mrsjyw: all my best girlfriends live local and it really varies. Sometimes we will see each other a few times a month, sometimes much longer. Especially since they have kids now it can make the spontaneous hang out sesh's near impossible but we usually have weekly group text messages where we all chat.

every couple months, sometimes more! we're spread out about 3 hours distance, but we do get together fairly often! just got back from a girl's trip in Palm Springs that was awesome!
i have other college friends that aren't the same group and it's tough to get together.

Not often enough, but we communicate through emails and phone pretty regularly.
One is in boston, another in Michigan, another in SF, another just moved back to Socal, but she's all the way out in LA and just had a baby so it's hard to get together! They're all so scattered. Wish I could see them more often.

1-2 times per year. We are spread across the country (TX, CO, MN, and OR) but we do a girls trip each year and sometimes see each other if we have something else going on near one of them.

She lives just up the street so sometimes it's 2-3 times a week and sometimes it's once every two weeks - all depends on our schedules, really. But often enough!

I see my BFFs at least once every 2 months to celebrate birthdays as a group. But individually I see them much more often (monthly)? It's hard because we all have such different lifestyles right now (single, going through a divorce, married, married with kids) and everyone is super busy. But we really really try to make the effort.

My oldest BFFs I rarely see. Maybe 1-2x/year because they live in different corners of the US. But I have some local (newer) friends I get to see more often, which is happy!
I sort of feel like this is just the reality of life, and I'm grateful that modern technology makes it so easy for me to still chat with my old BFFs even though we are all busy and are scattered.

One of them I see every 2-3 months (she is the closest), another couple I see maybe once or twice a year if I'm lucky! Everyone is scattered across the country.

I have really been making an effort this year to see them more often. The one I'm closest with I try to see at least every couple of weeks. The other two at least once a month. I generally go to them - they all have kids and I don't, but whatever works best for them at the moment.

My besties back home I see 2-3 times a year when I travel back. My college besties mostly live in NYC (even though we went to a Big 10 school in the Midwest) and I see them maybe 1-3 times/month since we have moved to the suburbs. And my mom friends I see pretty much weekly.

@LovelyPlum: oh wow. That does suck. Thank goodness for modern technology, right? Although we've gotten into card sending too, which I really like.
My closest friends are my college friends, and we try to see each other once a month or so, which has not happened since I had my baby in April. They see each other more often because most of them are still in the Philly area where we went to school, but my husband and I moved away years ago. It's getting harder to keep in touch, but our families are in that area too so we keep up.
