I just took my car through the car wash for the first time in a good couple of months, yesterday. I'm embarrassed that it took me that long to do it, but I just never think about it when I am out. How often do you get your car washed?

umm.... not often enough?? haha. i did just buy a groupon for 3 car washes, so i'll go tomorrow, but i think the last time i had a done was a couple months ago. i don't like to do it when it's too cold.

LOL! You are better than me! I think I get it done when I get an oil change...so every 3-4 months. I only get my car washed when it's free (included in my oil change) or if I have to bring my car into the dealer for some reason (they also always wash my car for free) I don't remember the last time I paid for one, or washed my car myself! It's really bad to since I have a white car!!!

My Prius is.. 3 years old and it's been washed 3 times? Haha
I used to wash my slk55 1-2x a week when I was single.

Not very often....its color (grey/silver) doesn't show dirt easily, and it rains/snows enough that it washes things away. The inside is a disaster, it needs to be vacuumed sooo badly. I think the last time I did that was in July or August?

Uhm, not often enough. I actually have a broken window right now, so it's been way too long. I don't need to wash the inside of my car with soap and water LOL

Not often enough. I live off of a gravel road and have a long gravel driveway and I live in WA where is rainy a lot of the year. I wash it and its dirty the next day anyways! Ugh!

We wash our luxury car once a week given the weather is nice since we get free car washes from the dealership. For our other cars, not nearly often enough unless we have an expiring free car wash coupon or it's extremely gross in our opinion.

Once or twice a month/when it starts to look embarrassingly dirty. We have a $3 one nearby that doesn't require me to get out of the car and does a good job, so little effort is required.

not unless i have to, which i did in october because i was egged twice. ugh.
my husband gets so mad that i don't wash it! he'll take it and vac & wash it because he doesn't want people to see it so filthy. LOL. it's black so it's kind of noticeable!

@sorrycharlie: Woah! Thas crazy!
I wish my hubby would get mad and wash mine, or his. I dont wash mine that often because of what I stated above, but DH has a Jeep and he feels it HAS to be dirty because its a "Jeep"

@tororojo: lol idk! we have on street parking on a busy road, and our house is about 10-12 feet above ground level, so we can't easily see the car. I was so upset because I was only a month postpartum, and don't even know anyone in our neighborhood! It was a full carton's worth on my back hatch (highlander), and I took it to a carwash and the next day someone had re-egged it! I almost filed a police report but didn't get there with LO. ugh!

@Rescuemom10: We totally use that excuse with our Jeep! But back when it was newer it did look pretty and shiny after a good wash.
@sorrycharlie: That totally sucks!

I try and go once a month. Twice a year, I get the full service, condition the leather, etc. It is pricy but worth it.

um. like 3 times a year, max? And it's black! I never clean the inside either. DH got my car detailed as a bday present and it was the first time the inside had been cleaned in probably a yr and a half.

Never.. I drive an SUV that is a light colour so it hides the dirt pretty well.. and its an SUV. It looks more hardcore dirty (so I tell myself)
I wash it normally in the spring or when it starts to get a bit more mild out after the winter to get all the salt off.
Otherwise, I wait for mother nature to do it

Wow. You all make me feel obsessive! DH is in cars, so he washes his at work a couple times a week, and I take mine every few weeks. Any less, and I start getting ragged for what the dirt/salt/sand is doing to my paint job.
