We see Mr. Bee's parents once a year since they live on a remote island in the Philippines. We fly to LA where my family lives 2 times a year. Then my mom flies to New York 2-3 times a year because she misses the kids like crazy. I wish we could see both sets of parents more often.
How often do your in-laws and parents see your kids? Do you wish you saw them more/less?

I live 20 minutes away from both sets of parents. We see my mum weekly and see my in-laws 2-3 times a month.

My MIL 1-2 times a week, SFIL more like 1x a month, mostly when I drop of T for MIL to babysit.
My Mom 2-3 times a week, my Dad more like 1-2 times a month. They are still married. Moms just really excited to be a Grandparent and Dad likes to do his own thing.
It all works for us.

My mom sees our LO every 2-3 weeks tops (she lives 2 hrs away). My dad sees her every 4-6 weeks (still married to my mom but he works and she is retired so she makes mid-week visits). My MIL has seen her 4 times in 15 months (two of those were 10 day visits though. She lives 8 hrs by car). My FIL has seen her 5 times in 15 months. (3 hrs by car).

My mom, once a week or so. My dad has seen her twice (he lives 3 hours away and has chronic health problems that make travel difficult). (LO is 9 weeks of, for reference.) I'm happy with how much my mom sees her and wish my dad could more.
MIL we let come over maybe every other week. FIL is more erratic, but probably every couple weeks as well. I'm fine with how often FIL sees her, and wish MIL saw her less. (DH agrees.)

My parents - at least 3x a week. They live 2 mins away from us so we get together often.
ILs live 5 hours away and I would say on average we see them once every 6 weeks.
I'm happy with both arrangements. I wish she could see the ILs more but with the distance they live Id say it is pretty good to see them as often as we do.

My dad sees him at least once per week and my mom more than that because she watches him two mornings per week for a couple hours. We live 20 min away from them.
The ILs live between 2 and 3 hours away and see him once every month or two. Honestly I wish they made an effort to see him or at least kept in touch a little more.

We live 2 hrs away from my mom and probably see her once a month. Same for ILs, they are about 1.5 hrs away. I wish they both lived closer!

We see my parents twice a week. They live 25 min away and we go to the same church. My mom watches her once a week.
My Inlaws live on the other side of the world and we only see them maybe every 2-3 yrs? Thank goodness

We see my in-laws 2-3 times a year (long weekend trips) and my family at least twice a year (anywhere from 1 week to the whole summer). I wish we could see them more, but we all live all over the world.

My mom visits every 3 ish weeks or so. DHs parents visit once a month or so. We go to our hometown and visit everyone once every other month or so.
I just said "or so" a lot!

my mom sees them probably 5x / week. Sometimes more, not often less. ( She lives about a 5 min walk away. ) Most of those times it's while we take our dogs for a walk together.
My dad works 4 on 4 off, so he usually seem them once on his 4 days off.
We go through fazes with my FIL. He was babysitting 2x / week for a couple months while I took a fitness class. But other then that, maybe once a week? Sometimes longer.
MIL and SFIL maybe once a month. They only live here for 6 months a year ( thank goodness.) Sometimes it might be twice a month, but not often.

My mom lives with us, so daily.
We get together with my IL's 1-2x a month, depending on their schedule.
My dad has met E once at my brother's wedding a little over a year ago, and my stepmother has never met him.

We see ILs weekly & my parents (who live 2.5hr flight away) twice, so far, in the 3mos DD has been here (~1 wk visits, each). I'm hoping to keep a schedule of at least 3-4 visits with my family each year, but would of course love more than that, even.

My family 3-4 times a year and IL's 2-3 times per year. All our family is a 1.5 hour flight away or 15 hour drive. So when we do visit it is usually 1 week at a time. I really wish it was more and am thankful for Skype.

My parent - on average twice a year. My dad lives on a different continent, but he has come to visit twice in the last year and we just came back from visiting him. But there have been several years where we neither of us made the trip.
My ILs - probably 4-5 times per year. They are also in another country, but much closer to us and easier/cheaper to get to.

My parents live in town and they are the before and after care for my son, so we see them every weekday and sometimes on the weekends, depending on what is going on.
My husband's parents live an 8 hour plane ride away, driving isn't an option, so we see them once or twice a year. My son loves Skype though, he asks to call my MIL every week.

Every couple/few months for both sides? Depending on our social calendar, we'll see my parents a little more often even though they live twice as far as my in laws.
My in laws run their own business with abnormal hours so going out to see them or them to us is hard to coordinate since when we do, it's only for a few hours.

We live within 30 minutes of all grandparents and the one and only grandparent. We see my Mom and my ILs probably once every 2 weeks. My dad goes in phases, sometimes I see him each week and sometimes we go for a month. I love seeing them so frequently and I love the relationship that DD has with them all!

My parents live a 1.5-hr plane ride away and have been coming every 1-2 months. I wish it were more often! DH's parents both passed, but I wish so badly that his mom especially were around to see DS. He would've brought her so much joy!

DHs parents live quite far, so they see him 1 or 2 times a year, but skype a lot. My family lives only 5 hours away, so my mom and I each visit each other a few times a year, so i would say every 2 - 3 months.

They see my mom the most. More often in the summer - at a minimum every other week but also we spend up to a week at a time at her house. Other times at least once or twice a month but usually overnight visits. My dad once or twice a month, more in the summer. My IL's just for holidays and birthdays with an occasional random visit. Maybe a couple hours every 2-3 months. All grandparents live about 1.5 hours away.

My mom sees DS usually twice a week. Usually she drops in for a quick visit on a week night and she's the one who usually babysits DS if my husband and I go out for dinner, etc. I usually meet up with her on Saturdays, too, since DH works almost every Saturday. My mom lives 10 minutes away.
The in-laws live 25-30 minutes away and usually see DS once a week.

My mom sees DS 1-2 times/week. She watches him one day a week and we'll sometimes get together with her on the weekend.
The in-laws see him 2-3 times/year, the live a 2hr flight + 2 hr drive away and they don't travel anymore due to health issues.

I'd love to see both more often, especially now that my oldest is 3 and asks for them regularly.
My IL's live across the country, we see them 3-4 times a year- they come to us, we go to them, and we try to meet up somewhere. My MIL tries to fly out solo a couple times a year as well.
My parents live an hour and a half away, we usually see them every month or two.

Both sides on average every 2 months. Wish it was more often but with us working FT and having pets it's hard to travel. My parents are 2.5 hours away and MIL is 4 hours away.

My in law's see the kids every other week and LO1 will often sleep over. They live 25 minutes away. My parents live in the next neighborhood over, and we try to visit weekly.
