Lo is 4mo and we almost never use it anymore. We haven't packed it all the way away but we did move it over to a corner and close it up!

Around 6 months? Although I'd still bust it out on really hard days or when he wasn't feeling well. He's a chunk though and outgrew stuff pretty quickly.

I never used a swing at home with either child. They have them at daycare in the 6-12 m room but not the 12-18 m room.

It was a little past three months for us because the little goober started trying to roll over in it. Much more successfully than I would have thought possible.

Daycare told me LO still napped in the swing at 11.5 months. She was such an awful napper I didn't question the safety of it. She must have been too big.

Around 8-9 months when it was literally creaking with his weight. His legs were hanging over and it could barely move side to side. I think he'd still use it now at almost 2 if given the opportunity - he was SO obsessed.

Five months we finally weaned him from swing naps. By 6/7 months he was getting too big and it was just wasting space in out living room so we packed it away

Around 8 months... he didn't use it often at that point, but on horrible nights or if he was sick, it was still a godsend.

21 weeks! We retired it today, because it was making her angry to be in it. Can't believe we're to that point already!

@gilmoregirl: good grief, YES. It just made her so mad that she couldn't get all the way over in it.

About 6 months I realized she could just put her feet on the ground and swing herself, so we retired it.

By about 4 months we were mostly done, as in she didn't nap in it anymore, but we would use it occasionally since she would look at the mobile & hang out for a short while. But the people we borrowed ours from moved, so we had to give it back to them when she was about 7 months. We hadn't used it in weeks by then though.

Around 5 months... we tried to milk all we could out of that thing, but he was weighing it down and it started making squeaking noises as it swung. He was such a huge baby!

We never had one at home but daycare let him nap in one until he was 1.

He wasn't a fan but we tried to use it occasionally until 6 months or so.

Around 3/4 months we gave up on the swing because she never liked it.

@LovelyPlum: Ben did get all the way over. I caught him on the monitor with his face shoved into the side and his legs hanging half out. It was pretty scary and I'm glad it was a nap and not overnight so I was keeping a close watch. We quit the swing cold turkey after that. (He wasn't strapped in, which I know you're supposed to do.)

Around 4 - 6 months? I think. He was such a busy little guy that he didn't like being in it for any length of time after he could crawl!
ETA: We also didn't use it for sleep after 4 months, so that took one more use out of it.

Both of my kids love(d) the swing! C used it until... gosh, almost 6 months? H is still using it at 3 1/2 months, but he's about to reach the weight limit.

On days where she REFUSES to nap, sometimes we still use it! LO just turned 10 months old. She's petite though, and still is well below the 25 lb weight limit!

Still going strong at 4 months! She will only nap in the swing. I will be very sad when we have to retire it......unless she will nap in her crib. Then I would be happy.

it was around 5 months that we weren't using it anymore.
