I was in later elementary school, my parents were really dedicated to it and my Dad would make hoof prints all over the yard, plant a "reindeer collar" etc ...
We made my little sister pretend she believed in Santa until she was 14 so we could get extra presents. My Mom confronting her about knowing was the funniest Christmas moment of all time!

@boiledpnut: I just told my DH if a teacher ruined Christmas for my kid I would key their car and throw a molotov cocktail in their living room. You ruin Christmas for my kid I will ruin your life.
