I used to be more picky about how organized the toys were before going to bed myself, but two kids later and I'm just too tired to care. I definitely still pick up but there are usually a few random toys out still, and the playroom doesn't get as much attention as the living room does.
How picked up are the toys at your house at the end of the night?

0% in the playroom. Maybe 75% in the living room.
Our playroom is in the back of the house, so I just shut the door and pretend it's not there

We don't have a playroom so all the toys get picked up. My husband usually does it while I'm finishing putting the baby to bed, it takes maybe 5 minutes. This might change as she gets older and we have more kiddos, but for now it is really important to me that the house gets picked up every night. It's also easier because we WOHM and she's not home during the day!

On a normal week/work night? 0% unless something is in a precarious position or is a danger to trip over.
The only toys that I/we pick up immediately after use are lego's, Lincoln logs and train tracks (we have two different sets). Everything else remains out......

100%. DS's play area is in the back of our living room and I can't handle when it's a mess. After bedtime, I clean up the toys after I do the bathroom and kitchen from bath and dinner. including vacuuming, it takes 5 minutes and makes me feel so much better.

Lately I've been cleaning them all up so 100%. I've been getting ds to help before bath time and he seems to actually like it and it kills some time before bed. Then sometimes I do nothing so it's like a bomb went off!

The toys are picked up, but things are increasingly dirty until the weekend when we clean. Only if things get really bad do I actually break out the vacuum or mop during the week after work.

Pretty much entirely. Part of our wind-down routine is having DD help pick up the toys in her room. I will do a sweep of the living room. I can't settle knowing there are messes.

100% because if I don't, our cats play with them and wake me up! And I'm not talking about the little things, our cat will scoot DS's big fire truck all the way across the room!

The only "cleanup" rules that I enforce are that all toys must be off the floor by Thursday night before our cleaner comes.
Other than that, I have no problem with the toys being "in play" and out in the playroom.
My son's room has some toys in it and for that, I just require a clear path from the door to the bed.

We keep most of DD's toys in her room so I don't really mind if it isn't super picked up at the end of the night. Her room is usually about 50% clean. Some nights I organize all her little baskets and her kitchen. We almost always pick up all of her art stuff that is in the dining room, which she uses while I make dinner.

We don't have a playroom, so almost all of DS's toys are played with and stored in the living room. We've been working really hard with him on cleaning up our toys as we go along. There's just not enough room in our home to leave things out.
At bedtime one of us will tuck DS in and the other will finish tidying up and pick up any errant toys. Neither DH or I are able to sit and relax until it's tidy. DH really stays on top of it through the evening and I try to during the day so the last pick up sweep takes maybe 5 minutes.
DH is tidier by nature than I am. I want to think that if it was up to me it would be tidy each night, but I think my average would be 50-80% picked up.

We have just (in the last few months) made sure that they are 99% put away each night. Makes me feel so much better to come down to a tidy living room in the morning!

100% picked up. It is part of our routine at night. Before we go upstairs we all help clean up the toys. We started doing it early on and she never really complains. She knows the faster it all gets cleaned up the more stories she gets.

0% during the week and one major pick up/sorting job on the weekend. Usually on the weekend I put away and rotate out toys. DH doesn't clean so I've learned to live with the mess. 80% of the toys are in our family room.

Depends on the day. Usually 80-90% since we don't have a playroom and waking up to a messy living room makes me kind of twitchy. DD has been helping clean up more before bed and that helps a lot and is really cute!

Most nights I pick up the toys, but there are days where I am just too tired, so I leave them for the next day
