We hear parents calling for "Charlie" a decent amount at the playground... but almost never hear the name "Olive"! Except yesterday, when a local French bulldog was named Olive hehe.
How popular is your LO's name at your local playground?

We haven't gone to the playground/park enough to hear names being called.. I'm sure there are quite a few Micahs around this area though.

Four years old and I've never heard DD1's name used for another child. She has a name that was popular during my mom's generation, so it's considered old school now. DD2 is almost nine months but we've met two girls with her name... A 2 yo at a playspace and a toddler at DD1's school. Her name is in the top 200

We've a kid with the same name once at the playground. He was on the swing right next to LO.

@Rubies: if I remember correctly, my cousin's kid has the same name as your lo. I think she's 5. She was named after a deceased relative.

DS's name is more popular now, but most of the kiddos that share his name are a few years younger.
Pretty sure if this lo is a girl we won't be hearing her name very often.... if it's a boy, ALL THE TIME! lol

I haven't heard it yet, either in the playground or at library story time.
On the flip side, it seems like *my* name is always on the intercom when I'm out shopping, from a manager looking for an employee!
