How soon after conception can you have morning sickness?

@LindsayInNY: Could be! I personally did not get any real symptoms till after 6 weeks. But everyone is different!

6w for me but sore breasts from day 1 (I think it was from prog levels rising after O and never going back down again).

I just looked at my conception chart and nausea hit me at 7 DPO (and I know exactly when I ovulated since I was tracking it using OPKs, temping, CM and a CBFM!!). I got my BFP a few days later at 10 DPO (had tested and gotten a negative at 9 DPO), about four or five days before my missed period.

That said my nausea at 7 DPO was not severe and didn't cause vomiting. I basically had faint nausea that came and went throughout the day until REAL morning sickness hit me HARD at 6 weeks on the nose (with lots of vomiting and debilitating nausea, which I find even worse than the vomiting) and it is still with me (having gotten progressively worse) at 12.5 weeks.

I'm afraid that the earlier you experience nausea it is very likely an indicator that you're going to have a rough time with morning sickness. But on the other hand, if what you're experiencing is in fact pregnancy-related nausea, it is a very good sign that implantation was successful and your body is already gearing up hormonally to support baby's growth!

@LindsayInNY: I tested early because I was so nauseous! So according to the final due date I wound up with I was 3w5d? when I got my bfp, and I was feeling gross enough the day before that dh said I should take a test.

@googly-eyes: I'm just thinking, if this isn't sickness related (because I'm feeling completely fine otherwise), and continues, I might not be able to wait until next Saturday to test!

@LindsayInNY: I wouldn't think you could feel nauseaus prior to implantation. I had a bout of nausea the day I had an implantation like feeling around 7dpo. But I'll cross my fingers for you!

@LindsayInNY: @Stratosphere: I also started getting waves of nausea on an empty stomach at 8dPO. God help you both though, because first to arrive also seems to be last to leave - I'm 27 weeks now and still dealing with it.

    Fingies!

@anandam: Thursday was 4dpo and I was terribly sick. I've had the on and off feeling since and today is 7dpo. The only way I can describe it is queasy. It's not nausea per se, just an off stomach feeling. And yesterday I had no interest in even finishing my bagel for breakfast which was kinda odd.

@LindsayInNY: Mine was also quite mild, nowhere near needing to vomit until some weeks later, but it was still distinctly out of the ordinary. I know I thought it all must be my imagination at the time (that TWW neurosis), but it wasn't! I really hope it's the real thing for you this time, too!!!

@LindsayInNY: 4dpo seems early but honestly you just can't know til you know! A lot of people say they came down with colds or whatever around the time they got pregnant so even if it's not m/s it could maybe be changes in one's immune system? I have no idea!

six weeks on the dot for both pregnancies for me -- i heard it can be different for different people, though!

@googly-eyes: Oh no, 4DPO is entirely sickness related! But since then my stomach has been "off." I was sick before my chemical BFP but that was much later DPO-wise.
