We live in a new construction condo. There is one of these in each bedroom. Unfortunately, the one in our son's room is right above his crib. He still can't sit up by himself, but eventually we will need a way to cover it up. Has anyone solved this problem?

I assume you've already considered moving the crib? If that isn't an option-- maybe build some sort of wood box that can cover it and screw it into the wall?

The layout of the room (placement of doors plus the fact that we keep a queen-sized bed in there) makes it hard to move the crib.

We have plastic security boxes around the fire alarm pulls at school.

@ElbieKay: Thought. If you decide to do a box over it like @Mae: suggested, could always make it decorative. Possibly make it look like a birdhouse? Just be sure there's a way to open said box in case you need to get to that alarm!

If you google cover for fire alarm pull station some covers show up. Not super pretty but functional. We have them at school.
