My kitchen floor (an open kitchen that covers half of our first floor) is large ceramic tiles with fairly deep grooves in between them. I feel like it's never clean! In our old house I would sweep almost every day because it was quick and easy. Now I can't sweep because the dirt and crumbs (2 kids ) go straight into the grooves and stay there. I try to vacuum the whole floor with my standard upright vacuum, but it isn't able to get most of the junk that's in the grooves! The only way to do it is with the tiny "wand" attachment which would take forever to do the whole thing.

Do you think my vacuum should be able to handle this? Maybe I need to invest in a fancy one...
