I bought a few plastic toys and wood blocks from a consignment sale. How should I clean them? Vinegar water mixture? If so, how long does the vinegar smell last?

I'd definitely do a vinegar wash..dilute it with water and a little dish soap.

I clean general grunge off with a baby wipe, then liberally spray with vinegar and set them outside in the sun for a few hours, then rinse and leave outside to dry.
