I have been putting LO on the potty seat here and there, since she turned 1. No expectations. I just wanted her to get comfortable with the potty and sit on it while I go to the bathroom too. Now, at almost 18 months, she is willing to sit on it longer and goes to sit on it herself. I think she thinks it's just another fun chair. But I've read people say there is a window period around this age you can sometimes get them potty trained.

LO will sit on the potty, but nothing has ever come out. She has no tell/signs for pee or poop, doesn't verbalize it, doesn't even care if she has a dirty diaper. So I just want some help to get her to go in the potty a few times so she gets the association. Yesterday I tried pouring a little bit of warm water on her while she sat on the potty - maybe help the feeling come? Well, she thought it was hilarious to play with the water in the potty. I've tried "showing" her, when I go (what we won't do as mothers?! lol), but I would love some more tips on how to get the flow started. pun intended.

Any tips? TIA!
