LO is 20 months old and very active. He currently has a bronchial infection with a high fever (102.5) that we are struggling to keep down even with advil/tylenol. He's grumpy and whiny but he is still very active. Won't sit still. Wants to still play, hard. Any ideas for getting him to rest? Or do I just let him play as much as he wants?

E had a stomach bug last week and would watch hours of TV with me ONLY if I sat with her. Then she must've started feeling better because there was no containing her and I couldn't stop it! I think when they feel super bad, they let you know.

So you'd say just let him play? He'll watch tv for a while. He's probably watched way too much, actually...

I would let him snuggle on the couch with you and a movie. It is the only way R will be still, even when not sick.
