DH just got a new pair of dark jeans. Is there something I can do to keep them from leaving dye all over everything he sits on?? I have a pair that I wear, I washed them by themselves a couple times before wearing them, but they still left due on things.
Is there something you've done that works?

Washing has worked for me but have you tried those dye catcher things? Do you dry them in the dryer or hang them?

I remember once I returned a pair of jeans because they did this and I was so frustrated! My hands were blue just from wearing them. Even after washing them, the dye wouldn't come off and after wearing them, my thighs had a bluish tint.. Since, i have avoided super dark jeans... I have yet to find some that don't bleed! I love the look of dark jeans though.
I'll be following to see if there is anything to do about it!

You can "lock" the colour into them by soaking them in cold water with vinegar and salt before washing them for the first time.... my mom taught me to do it kind of like in these instructions

I wash inside out in cold numerous times and with towels only for a few cycles
