I had an allergic reaction to a prescription acne cream when I was in hs but it was very itchy so I don't know if it was really the same as yours. I just made sure to wash my face really well once I realized what was happening to get all residue off. Then just had to wait for it to go away. You could probably call your GP or dermatologist to see if they could prescribe something? or benadryl? I don't know but that sucks, sorry!

@BabyBoecksMom: if it looks like hives I would try taking Benadryl and see if it clears it up. But honestly I feel like reactions to topical stuff is more rash like (like a burn almost) where the skin itself is irritated/damaged and usually that just has to heal and clear up. Maybe call your doc and see if they have anything to help or see if applying a tiny bit of hydrocortisone cream helps a tiny area. I'm so sorry this happend! You're so beautiful but I know how awful that feels when you're going out and can't wear your makeup and get all dolled up. Hope it heals quickly!
