I've actually been pretty happy w my work situation this past year, despite a psycho boss and not really loving my line of work.

Congrats! Busy in spurts. The boss is away until after the 4th. I can play a bit, so that's nice.

Slow for me so I'm a bit worried (own my own business) but trying to keep my head up! Still get to do what I love and hang with my girl.

I started a new job, which involved a big career shift, last week. I really like the team (and LOVE my direct supervisors) and the work so far. Cautiously optimistic that its going to be the right move for me.

Great! I just got a pretty substantial raise and a bonus. The next two months are going to be very busy.

I just started on a new project in April and things were going REALLY slow and I was pretty bored, but I'm finally starting to get into the swing of things, so I'm feeling optimistic!

It's great! I love the summer, I miss my nanny littles while they're at school. Summer is so fun
although I got a little sunburn on my back & shoulders at the beach this wk & a few bug bites hiking... Haha, I love my job

I've been on summer break for 3 weeks. I decided to leave my public teaching job and start teaching at a Montessori preschool (where my son attends). I'll start that in July and I'm hopeful it will be the right path for me right now. My old job was getting me down; now I get to try something new AND be close to my kid.
