Mine are #14 and #45... but to me I'm surprised that physician is so low on the list!

Mine is #55. On one hand I am suprised it is so low because I love nursing, but on the other hand it is really not a glamorous job and definitely has its down sides.

ETA: DH is 32nd and I would rank his way worse then mine, lol

There is nothing close to my job on the list!! I suppose the nearest on the list would be Social Worker at #49 (but it's a pretty big jump!).

@IRunForFun: I'm a newspaper refugee (turned freelancer/SAHM). I get why the job is ranked so low, but yeah ... it's a field you go into because you love it!

Going back would be tough with an LO, though.

I'm a broadcast journalist -- I'm sure that's not ranked too highly either as there is definitely not a ton of job stability, but I enjoy it!

@IRunForFun: Haha, definitely not!!! I don't *hate* my job totally but, if I could do it all over again, I don't think I'd pick law school...

DH's job is ranked #32 and mine is ranked #58.
Not too bad!

I'm #88, I guess. But that's for the general "librarian", and I think being a school librarian is probably very different from being a public librarian. I love my job (hello, working only 9 months a year!), so the lower pay seems like a fair trade-off.

@LindsayInNYC: Amen. Somedays it's all *goldstar awesome!* and other days I feel like "whyyyyyy did you go to law school? Why?!"

@IRunForFun: Ha ha, I'm a reporter too (or was, I freelance now as I'm a SAHM). They're obviously not considering the perks of working for a newspaper though - I got more free holidays, meals and makeup than I can remember!

@IRunForFun: Yeah I used to enjoy the concerts and theatres, but having to file at the end ruined it a bit. I did get to interview my childhood hero though, which pretty much made my entire year and made the whole job worth it. I loved working for a paper, but am a bit worried about the future in terms of job security. I made the most of those press trips while I could, lol.

I disagree with the rankings... I went from one job to another field (got an offer but chose to stay home with lo) which I consider way better (both are low 100s) and dh is #166 but currently doing a stint (due to city budget cuts) as #189. Yippee, two low ranked jobs..lol.
