We don't have them anywhere except for at Buy Buy Baby so I love going to that store. Where do they have them near you?

I don't think I've ever seen them around here!

@Andrea: not that I've seen. The one place I really really wish they had them was the grocery store!! Preggy ladies are hungry and we don't want to walk far with our carts!

@MamaMoose: our grocery store does have one for parents with infants. It is usually occupied so it'll be hard to even take advantage of that when the time comes.

@Andrea: just there and babies r us! I never took advantage should have though!

Only 1 Target around here has them and I don't think I've ever seen anyone use them!

@winniebee: why not? I started as soon as my belly popped!

We have United grocery stores here and they have expectant mother spots! along with little children...I can't remember how it's worded.

just used it at buy buy baby and at kroger (grocery store)!

I love them too! And not only for expectant moms but also for moms with infants. We have pregnancy parking at Babies R Us, infant parking at Wegmans and at a public garage in an area we frequent, and of course at Buy Buy Baby as well. Love it! They need to have it at more places than those that I mentioned. I frequently have both kids with me so it's helpful to be closer to the front of the store.

We have them all over the place here... BRU, grocery stores, walmart, the mall. They are for "Mom's with little ones and expectant mothers". I used one today because I was in a hurry to get in and out of the grocery store.

I don't use them because I don't feel like I'm big enough yet! I've only seen them at BRU, BBB, and one CVS near our house. Supposedly there's a Target with one (because I know a girl who uses them even though she's not pregnant, don't get me started) but I don't know where because none of my Target's have them.

I never used them, but DH would use them when he was with me. He LOVED it. He would even get upset when people he thought weren't pregnant were parking in "our spot." He's silly.

They have them at Wegmans, our regional grocery store chain. They're frequently open, and about as close to the store as you can get. I ALWAYS use them -- figure I've only got 9 months to take advantage of it!

I've only ever seen them at BRU. Our grocery store has "Parent with Child" parking, and I've considered using it, but figure I should save them for the people who are trying to put groceries and a car seat in their cars.

They have them at some of the grocery stores... but they're always taken up by people that aren't preggy! grrrr

I used them at the mall while I was Christmas shopping last year, it was great!

Yes love them! We have them at Walmart and Costco and a few random places like the children's museum. Most they're great because it is a pain to get LO into the store now.

We have them all over the place here, too but I never use them! I don't know what I am waiting for - to be bigger? I've only used one once because my mom was in the car and she forced me, haha.

@BabyBoecksMom: maybe they are not showing yet? Or do you see men parking there? LOL!
pomegranate / 3643 posts
I've never seen one in Montana! I don't know if I'd feel the need to use them yet though; I still tend to park far away for the added exercise benefit. I'm sure at 9 months I'll change my tune!

I never got to use one. I hardly showed until after 24-28 weeks. When you are so sick and need it most is weeks 8-15, but at that point no one knows you are knocked up.
A local grocery store had one that I tried to use and a couple drove up and yelled at me because they thought I wasn't pregnant. This woman was like 38 weeks... so I was scared to even try it after that. And of course by the time I was 38 weeks, I just wanted to walk that baby right out... so I parked as far away as possible!

@Mrs. Jacks: People are so ridiculous! I can't believe they yelled at you from their car. It's not like pregnant ladies have a scarlet letter on them. As you said, you may have no belly but that is when you might be feeling the worst.

@MamaMoose: Our grocery store has them, but they are almost as far from the cart return as you can get. Half useless!
GOLD / papaya / 10166 posts
@Andrea: I see all sorts of people park in them, but usually men and senior citizens LOL
GOLD / wonderful coffee bean / 18478 posts
@BabyBoecksMom: tell the men to get outta there!! LOL!!
honeydew / 7687 posts
The only place I go regularly that has one is the library and it's usually occupied because it is for preggos & senior citizens.
Honestly I'm happy to walk now that I'm pregnant... I think once I have a toddler I'll be wishing there was a "for parents with kids under the age of 5" spot
