I am so tired today. LO just went down for her nap and I was settling in for a nap too. Just got a text from DH and he said his parents are on their way out here. I love them but my house is a disaster, I look/feel like sh*t, and really just wanted this break. Now I have to get up, clean up, make myself presentable and be happy lol. I am just not in the mood.

My FIL just came over unannounced, so I feel your pain.
It's not so bad today, when DH is home, but one day I had a migraine and was *just* about to lay down for a while when he came over. It aggravates me. I wish he would at least call. He gets the dogs all worked up when he comes, so it's not a quiet visit.

@septemberlove: He is working today but I pretty much told him that he would be better off coming home while they are here lol. He can do some work from home so thats lucky.

@Lindsay05: hope he comes home! That stinks that he didn't even clear it with you first (though my DH pulls stunts like that all the time). Maybe if they realize you're not feeling well, they'll try to be helpful?

@septemberlove: DH does this often too. Im normally ok with it but I had my nap all planned out and it got ruined. I dont like change lol. They are really helpful but I hate making guests look after thing especially since they are helping fix our basement abd bringing out important piece for our satellite to work!

I feel your pain!! My inlaws have popped over a few times since I've been off on maternity leave. They call me and say "we're in the car, a few streets away and thought we'd drop off x,y,z". The other day they decided on a whim to buy us a new lawnmower! Its super thoughtful... but they don't even give me time to tidy round or fix my hair!!! Instead of relaxing on pre-baby mat leave, I'm in a constant state of they-might-show-up anxiety!!
