    Had our meeting with the potential new RE today. She was great and had some new ideas for us moving ahead. She was pretty reassuring that we should work with the remaining 4 frozen embryos for one more FET before attempting a fresh cycle again. So this is the plan we have to consider:

    1. Doing a mock natural cycle FET with progesterone support and an endometrial biopsy to make sure there are no lining issues that we aren't currently aware of.
    2. If the mock cycle goes well, do a natural cycle FET thawing all 4 embryos at the same time and choosing the two best to transfer (rather than just initially thawing the two that were graded best back in 2012).
    3. Or we could do a medicated FET cycle, but this RE uses oral estrogen (instead of patches) and a combination of vaginal and IM progesterone, so the protocol is a bit different than my previous FETs.

    It is nice to have some new ideas on the table!

    @GreenThumb: Glad your appt went well today. For number 2, are you concerned about grading being different from 2 years ago? Or is this their standard protocol is to reassess the frosties that you have.

    Also, remind me your history again. My memory is horrible. Sorry.

    @bluestriped bee: Thanks! It is good to start thinking about a plan again!! No, not standard protocol to assess the frosties again, but the 4 we have left are just mediocre quality and she said of course there is always the chance that one or more won't make it out of freeze in the best shape. If we just thawed the best 2 and didn't have success, that would be 3 failed FETs in a row. We probably wouldn't do a 4th try with the remaining 2 anyway since they would be the "worst" according to the initial grading. So it sort of makes sense to thaw all 4 and see which come out the the freeze the best.

    As far as history, we did a fresh IVF cycle (1 embryo, , 10 frosties), an FET (2 embryos, 1 baby ), 1 FET (2 embryos, CP), 1 FET (2 embryos, ). As far as we know we are just dealing with a blocked tube for me and low morphology for DH.

    @babycanuck: Yes!

    CD2 of cycle 18,093,256...or at least it feels like that. Lots of "little stuff going wrong" in the past 4 days in addition to the hormones of AF and disappointment. I recently finished a round of antibiotics for BV, and I think that is what has been causing my issues with CM. I am really hoping a stupid infection has made it nearly impossible for sperm to get through and that is finally the issue. I don't know if that's realistic or just wishful thinking.
