@Mrs. Polish: I don't mind taking over for a little while.

No updates from me this week. I'm just waiting for AF so I can begin taking the pill again in preparation for May. I'm starting to feel less scared and more excited. I know those feelings can change though. IF is definitely an emotional rollercoaster, as we all know.

On a positive note DH got a bonus this year that will cover the FET completely. We won't have to dip into our savings to pay for it. I feel very lucky that is the case.

I'm hoping for a lot of good news on this thread this week!

@Leialou: That's great about DH's bonus! I'm getting excited for you too

@Mrs. Polish: thanks for keeping up with this for so long! I hope you'll still be around (although I follow you on IG now at least, haha!)

Updates: I'm in the middle of stims (Gonal-F and Menopur) for my second fresh IVF cycle. I had a monitoring appointment yesterday and another tomorrow. So far everything looks good, and I'm expecting my retrieval will be sometime next week!

@Leialou: That is great about the bonus, makes it a little easier when there is one less thing to worry about Is the FET cycle less meds?

@Shutterbug: Hope that you have lots of follicles at your appointment tomorrow. Have you noticed a difference between this cycle and the last one?

Nothing to report for me right now....I think I am in my TWW but haven't been paying any attention, anything could happen but it hasn't for the last 28 cycles...

We have our WTF meeting with the RE on Tuesday next week. At this point we will be moving on to IVF. I also have a follow up with the ND on Thursday so that we can put a pre-IVF plan together to get my body as ready as possible

Confirmed results appointment will be march 24. Can't wait. They had an appt for next week open but I have work meetings with people flying in from out of town so no go.

Update: For cycle 8, I should be ovulating Sunday. I'm on my 2nd day of flashy smiley OPKs. I usually have 3 days flashy smiley and then 2 days of solid smiley OPKs. DH has committed to hitting 0-2, 0-1, 0 and 0+1 which will be the most back to back BD ever for us. We have been doing EOD this entire week. This is our big bang before we head on to IUI in April.

@Mrs. Polish: You have been so awesome with this. I think you deserve a little down time.

@Leialou: Awesome about your DH bonus.

@Shutterbug: FX for your retrieval! Glad everything is going great so far.

@bhbee: I hope the down feeling goes away after your last pill. I noticed I get super anxious on clomid. Only tonight and tomorrow and I'm done (for this cycle at least). FX for your IUI next week!

@mrswin: When do you hope to start IVF?

@babycanuck: March 24 will be here before you know it! I hope they have some news for you.

@littlek: I hope your big bang works out for you and you don't need to move to IUI next month.

As for me I'm on clomid through tomorrow night, then next Wednesday is my monitoring appointment to see how the follicles are growing, if they look good on Wednesday I will trigger in the office and go in the next day for the IUI. I really am hoping it works out that way otherwise I may have to take some time off work and I really don't want to do that.

@MrsTal: hopefully next week will be a lucky one for iuis

@mrswin: good luck at your WTF appointment next week! IVF seems scary but it's really not as bad as I expected. That being said, I hope you don't have to worry about it and you get a BFP this cycle!

So today my estrogen was higher than it was on the day I triggered last cycle, which I think it a good thing! My peak E2 last cycle was 750, and for IVF they want it to be between 1000 and 4000. My educated guess is that the low estrogen last cycle led to poor egg quality, which is why we only had early blasts on day 5 and none made it to freeze. I'm hoping I'll have better quality eggs this time, but now I'm worried about OHSS... I have 5 measurable follicles and 15-20+ smaller ones

@mrswin: maybe we will be IVF POAS twins.

@Shutterbug: I think that all sounds great! It's encouraging that you already see improvement over your last cycle. It seems like you still have a long way to go before OHSS would be a worry. Have they talked about when you might trigger yet?

Update: Had some blood taken on Wed at my WTF apt, but opted to do most at local Quest lab so insurnace would cover it, well 14 tubes later and passing out, I had a long Friday. ..lol I pray our answers are in there somewhere!!!!!

@mrswin: I was very proud of myself ..a yr ago I'd pass out just thinking of it...I held on until the last one....I heard her say her color is going and she is leaving us...lol

@FaithFertility: oh man, you poor thing! I used to be the same way a year ago with needles (passing out at the thought of it!) It's amazing how much IF treatments are like exposure therapy for us needle-phobes, haha!

@FaithFertility: The lady I had kept asking me if I was ok because I got really pale and was sweating....but the look on her face was one of horror when she realized I really was going to pass out hahaha

@FaithFertility: @mrswin: Oh wow! That's so much blood! I would have passed out after just A few vials I'm pretty sure!

Also, don't you just hate it when AF is late? After 3 years TTC and waiting to adopt for the second time I've finally lost track of my cycles, which is great to me. But a few days ago I realized I must be close to AF starting so I tried to remember when I last started. I realized it was due by Thursday/yesterday. Well, since there was still nothing this morning I took a HPT which, of course, was negative, but still no sign of AF. I hate how even with no real hope of pregnancy, just 24 hours can really get your hopes up. So now I hope AF shows up ASAP so I can stop wIth wondering if there's any chance the test was wrong. Which of course it isn't! Ugh.

I know 1-2 days isn't that late, but if my cycle is "off" it's always on the early side. Usually my cycles are 24-26 days (only been 27 a handful of times) and now it's day 29. It's just annoying. I know you all can relate!

@Leialou: I have only ever done Femera so my experience is limited but my cycles have generally gone back to normal sometimes a day or two longer but no major change

@mrswin: ha! I know! I've actually gotten a lot better about being happy for friends that get pregnant. But, being able to get pregnant after giving birth just 9 months ago seems absolutely crazy to me! (Not that I wouldn't have wanted that for ourselves of course... haha)
