Hello! Thought I'd jump in and post the latest check-in thread.
How is everyone enjoying fall? And since candy is my thing, I'll go ahead and ask you, what's your favorite halloween candy or seasonal fall sweet treat?
Share anything else you'd like, about life or where you're at with treatments.

My favorite halloween candy is candy corn. I'm trying to limit myself to just one bag this year, but I can be known to go through SEVERAL bags of candy corn in the fall months 
I also LOVE hot apple cider when the temperatures drop. And I love a cinnamon dolce latte as a treat from time to time.
I'm in my TWW right now. Just doing my best to battle the negative thoughts that keep coming into my head. And trying to deal with the progesterone blahs. Meditating is still my go-to, and it's really helping to balance out the work stress I have right now too.

It doesn't feel like fall where I am yet. Maybe in the next couple of weeks it will.
I like the mini boxes of nerds.
Nothing new here. I'm off work today getting a couple of last minute things ready for our home visit tonight.

I'm in the middle of a NTNP 2WW...it would definitely be something else if we got pregnant on our own after all this!
I'm getting my RPL labs drawn later today. Then I'll be having dinner with my MIL at a nice little bakery and staying home to make spiced/candied nuts tonight!
Once AF arrives, we're planning to start back on BCP in anticipation of a FET in 2 months....

Our group has gotten really small. It's great that so many have graduated, but it also makes me sad that I'm still here.

@Leialou: That's been my thought about the 6+ month TTC thread... I was still participating and have died off a bit. It's much quieter there now and there's more negativity at times than I want or need in my TTC life. I muted one user so that might've helped a little?

I love any and all seasonal candy or food!! I'm a candy corn addict but love all of it.
We're in the pre-IUI phase... I'm halfway done with my Letrozole/Femara regime and back at the RE on Monday for monitoring. I stopped temping entirely this cycle. I'm leaving it in the RE (and God's) hands!

Although, over time, pouring that entire box in my mouth has a tendency to make my cheeks hurt from sugar overload! // Good luck tonight! // I think part of the reason why the group may feel small is the breakdown of support boards. Not everyone checks every thread maybe? Graduates are good - that's for sure. But so is continued support. We're here for you!

SO HAPPY I booked my surgery today for November 6. She said my septum is 1.1 cm. she'll put in a balloon for a week then it comes out. I can start trying again after my first normal period. AHHHHJH. Hurry up November.

I actually don't really like candies, but I am soooo thrilled that there is pumpkin coffee again at Dunkin! And pumpkin pie and apple pie. I can't wait to make some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin muffins soon!
CD4 here of the first of a few unmedicated cycles. We'll still *try* but without any high hopes. In the mean time, I'm seriously telling DH he should find a new job with more health coverage for IVF (I think Blue cross has a plan that covers up to 6 cycles!) and looking into secondary insurance.

Just doing a quick check in. I've been off the boards for awhile after my CP and just life… But today is CD1 so I just scheduled our FET for November. On our time off, I've been enjoying the seasonal pumpkin ales that are out now. And I may also have to enjoy some pumpkin coffee while still can, too!!
@FliegepilzHut: Definitely hopeful for this cycle for you!! Enjoy the bakery!!

@Shutterbug: He's an engineer and he recently moved to more of a management track here now. We currently work for a defense contractor, but I don't want to leave since I know this place is flexible enough for me to go part time when/if we have a kid. And I have a pension, whereas he doesn't since he started after they cut that for new hires. What do you do?

@GreenThumb: I will! We're looking at some routine stuff (thyroid, blood sugar, prolactin...which I fully expect to be normal) and antiphospholipid syndrome labs.
ETA: Those will most likely be normal too...but better safe than sorry at this point!

AFM, I'm in the midst of the TWW. Not feeling very hopeful, but I am looking forward to our first re appt at the end of the month.
I love all things fall, but I especially look forward to the pumpkin spice latte and hot apple cider.

@PurplePumps: There's something about liquid pumpkin flavor that doesn't appeal to me...but pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and pumpkin muffins??? Yes! Hope this is a nice relaxing cycle for you and that you're able to continue to figure out your options for insurance.

@Crystal: I hope that by having that RE appointment scheduled for the end of the month it results in a BFP just before you need to go to that appointment
I'm in the middle of my TWW. Trying to keep my head in a good place and not start peeing on sticks. I don't have any wondfos and the FRER is so expensive. I have a feeling I'll go out for one this next weekend though. Beta is in a week. I can't stop noting every little twinge in my body. I just keep blaming the progesterone.

@sweetooth: I thought the same thing...but I think pumpkin coffees may just have pumpkin pie spices in them (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, allspice, etc)...? Nope, no results here yet...except the stuff I was pretty sure would be--and is--normal anyway (thyroid, prolactin, blood sugar). Hopefully later this week! Yeah, the progesterone makes it virtually impossible to tell anything... Stay strong! And good luck!

Went in this am for monitoring... Triggering Wednesday morning and IUI (lucky #3?!) is Thursday morning. Earlier than I was expecting but I am leaving all of this in their hands!

The home visit went well. The questions weren't too bad at all. Unfortunately we had to spend $150 on more smoke detectors, a larger fire extinguisher, and an HVAC inspection. I need to get an updated employment letter. Once I do that (broker is out of town) I think our report will be finalized. Hopefully it's a good one. I can't think of any reason it wouldn't be... but I can't help but to be a little nervous!

I'm hanging out in the TWW of my first femara cycle. If this isn't the cycle, next cycle might be a little difficult. I will be out of town for two days right around O. I probably won't waste a femara cycle if our timing isn't great. It seems like everyone is pregnant on FB and IRL. I am reminding myself that God won't run out of babies. I am so glad to have you ladies who understand.

@LindsayInNY: Lucky #3 indeed! When you say it's earlier than expected, what CD is it? Is it drastically different from your other IUIs?

@Leialou: I'm glad to hear the visit went well. I'm sure there's nervous feelings tied to a process like that. But I can't imagine why they wouldn't have a glowing report for you and your husband. Sorry to hear about the additional $, but look at it this way - those are all little details you can check off and make your home safe and sound for your baby
@AmeliaBedilia: I hope this is your cycle and you don't even have to worry about the details of when you're out of town around O next month And yes - the whole world is pregnant right now. I swear, when I'm out and about it's like every pregnant woman walks by me in a glowing bubble. I try to think that they are sharing their good luck with me by appearing everywhere I go

Hello all! I'm back from my vacation. Today is CD1. I'm going to start my stims on Oct 23rd and I think my ER will be around early November. Then FET will be probably Dec/Jan. I got my IVF packet and I'm about to buy my meds soon. One of the meds the follistim pen is $1000 each and I have to buy 4 of them. Yikes! I think I'll buy 2 and wait to see if I need the others.
Right now, I'm feeling better because I'm finally in my cycle. The last month being on BCP has been rough emotionally. Just so much waiting and doing nothing. Luckily, my vacation back home visiting family and friends was perfect timing to keep me distracted.
So, I just realized my 31st birthday is next week. I was so bummed when I turned 30 last year because I still wasn't pregnant. I was determined to be pregnant before my 31st birthday and here I am still not pregnant. Though, I need to be positive and hope that I'll get pregnant with IVF and maybe I'll be pregnant before 2014 ends.
I saw my pregnant sister on my trip back east. I was afraid it was going to be really hard to see her with her bump and I actually avoided seeing her because I was afraid of how I would take it. Well, I ended up seeing her and she has such a cute bump! I guess all that anxiety was all in my head. Well, for IRL. It's still hard seeing her pregnancy posts on FB. But it was good to know that I wasn't showing any IF jealousy in front of her.
Oh, a good friend of ours who got pregnant around the time we first started TTC 3 years ago just told the DH that they are now pregnant with their 2nd child and are due in April. April was the month Cheri22 told me would be a special month. (Though, looking back April was a special month to us because we were finally given a diagnosis.) I was convinced that I would have an EDD of April. I know it's crazy listening to a TTC psychic but it really gave me hope. But it kinda stings knowing our friends have a due date of April. Though, I think anyone with a EDD of April will be particularly sensitive to me, right now.
Anyway, I'm rambling. Need to stay positive.

@Crystal: I actually haven't had much of a chance to talk with him about it yet. Just confirms our "unexplained/unexplained" "bad luck" hypothesis, I guess. 
Hopefully our luck will change soon! I've had a lot of people try to sell me on that one lately (including MIL)...SO very misguided (I'm being nice)...
