...how would you feel? What state is your home in?

We just had a text with 10 minutes of notice that a friend of ours and his parents wanted to stop by on their way through town so the parents could see our house (they haven't been over since we purchased it). Cue panic and cleaning frenzy, and since they would want to check out the whole house, this had to include our bedroom (always last to get touched), the laundry room, etc.

Anyway, they just left, and the visit was really nice and it was great to see our friend who is leaving the province again for work for a year. However, I reaaaaally hate that feeling that the house is not clean enough for visitors and the rush of trying to make it presentable in a few minutes time. Not fun!!
