No...just..no. I don't even want to imagine haha

My DH was a trauma nurse, so he'd definitely be helpful from a medical standpoint and he won shooting competitions as a kid, so he could hunt. I'm a good leader and work in strategy, so I think I'd be good at making plans and decisions. But living outside, in the dark, and making stuff ourselves...not so sure we'd do well at that.

We'd be awesome. We could absolutely live like pioneers if we had to.

DH would be excellent in a situation like this. We love that show and I think he secretly wants that to happen haha

I feel confident that DH would protect us. I'd be miserable, but would quickly adapt I think.

My hubby is a builder and hunts and fishes, and rarely uses the computer (except to play Words with Friends). I think he'd be handy.,me however...I'm a graphic designer and on the computer all day...

We did a pretty good job when we lost power for a week last March. We played card games by lantern light...

Absolutely. He can use a bow & arrow, he can start a fire wo flint. He has a solar powered emergency radio etc. He also has many man deadly knives....some military issued. So protection w/o ammo is not an issue.

Then we'll go find @bree72: to bum off her husband's hunting. Haha But in all seriousness he will hunt if it means providing for our family.
Me? Yea I can survive w/o technology, I think.

@Mrs. Jacks: oh we are so beyond "pretend" prepare for an apocalypse.....sigh

@regberadaisy: Ha awesome. We'd have to share anyways, or have my grandma teach me how to preserve meat without refrigeration. She lived like this in old Florida when she was a child. No running water, electricity and all food grown or hunted. she loved it.

@Mrs. Jacks: We totally discuss all sorts of situations we'd have to survive. We always talk about how we've got it better than most of the country because of the huge drinkable water supply in our area.

I would be useless, except I can build a fire without matches thanks to Girl Scouts.

DH...hmm he could protect us, but the man is not handy, so we would need to make friends quick.

Wait, you mean no more HB??? Eek! DH would be out of a job, and my job would change tremendously, but our home lives would be fine...less stressful too!
