...How long would it take for them to be able to tell that you have a LO?
I feel like we have baby stuff everywhere. As soon as you walk into our house there is a swing base right by the door (his carseat attached to it and I use it if he falls asleep in the car) so people could tell right away!

They would have to take 5 steps in and then they'd see our high chair in the kitchen. Or, LO's winter coat and hat on the stairs.

We have a swing, PNP and jumperoo right in the living room lol! So immediately

They would know pretty quick. We have baby stuff in almost every room.

They would have to walk down our entry hall to our living room where her swing is. Someone who just comes to the door would not be able to tell a baby lives here.

Right now his box of diapers are in the entryway hahah. If our house were actually clean you wouldn't be able to tell because we keep all of his toys in his room. But at the moment we have a bin of toys in the living room

They would notice within a minute or two. You can see DS's play area from the entryway.

If you had asked me at noon today, you would have been able to tell a elementary school aged boy lived here, cause his stuff was everywhere.
However, when he got home from school today, he and I did a real power clean up, cause my nesting instinct is in full force, and the main part of the house looks pretty much like grown ups only.
Tomorrow it'll go back to his way, probably, lol. And, when LO gets here, it'll probably be pretty obvious.

Instantly since Hurricane C has struck very recently since his afternoon nap. They could also instantly tell that I am a teacher since I have notebooks and textbooks scattered all over right now.

Instantly because they would trip over her carseat usually left in the middle of the entry foyer!

We have a montessori house, so all of our bookshelves have toys on the lower two levels. Then they'd see the alphabet letters on the fireplace, the basket of stuffed animals under the tv. So, real quick.

Two steps in you can see the kitchen and there's the bottle drying rack. Beyond that is the dining room where her stroller is folded up. The living room has her swing, carseat, the folded rock'n'play, a basket of her clothes, and a basket of diapers and wipes.

A long time. I make it A POINT to keep all LOs stuff in his room. The swing is away because he no longer uses it and his playmat gets put back into his closet. It just stresses me out to see baby stuff haha. Plus we have a cat so I don't leave his blankes out or anything or else she will lay on them.
