DH is an only child and has always wanted a soccer team! 
(He said he always longed for a sibling)
Now that we have DS, we are going to TTC #2 soon but he says "we'll see how tired I am" about a maybe #3 in the future. When before he wanted as many as I could give him!

My husband is an only and only wants one (so far!).
He never longed for a sibling and has a really great set of very close, lifelong friends (multiple 25+ year friendships), so for him, being an only really only had upsides.

I'm an only and wanted lots until I had one. Now I want an only 
She's not overly challenging, rather the opposite. I just feel really happy, satisfied, and like our family is complete.

Yes! I'm an only and DH essentially grew up like an only. We're having at least 2, maybe 3 or 4. We'll take it one at a time.

Only child here, and I'm about 99% sure that I want to have another. I actually loved being an only child, but, now that I'm an adult, I would love to have a sibling. More than anything, I don't want the burden of dealing with us in our old age to fall solely on my son's shoulders.

I'm kind of the only child; my brother and I are 8 years apart. I never longed for a playmate and was content playing by myself.
I know I "should" have another, but I'm not sure if I'm able to, and we're still trying to figure out if we really want another.

I'm not technically an only but was essentially raised as one...I definitely want 2 or 3! I really wish I had close sibling relationships.

@DillonLion: That's how I feel too (about our family being complete and being happy and satisfied), though I'm not an only (I have one sister who I didn't grow up that close with but am close with now). I always thought I wanted 2 kids, like I grew up with, until I had one and our family felt complete.

I'm an only child and I want 3-4. I didn't *hate* being an only child but I would have liked to have siblings.
