what age ideally do you want to be done?
I always told DH, I'd like to be done by 35. (Had DS at 29, TTC #2 right now at 31)

Same exact timeline as you (and aren't our bdays like days apart?? I'm 8/30). I'd like to be done by 35.

27 or 28. #2 will be here when I'm 23. Then I'd like to wait 3 to 5 years (we'll see how we are feeling) if/when we decide to try for #3 since 1 & 2 will only be 19 months apart

I wanted to be done by 30 but alas IF has kiboshed those plans. I'm almost 33.

35. #1 was at 27, #2 is at 29, #3 is going to be somewhere in my early 30's, and I'm keeping it open if we want another.

I wanted to be done by 30 my whole life. And then....I had DS at 32. Still trying for #2 and I'm almost 34.

Originally 35, but considering I'm turning 36 today, that's not an option. If we have a 3rd it will be pretty soon after DD is born. I'd like to be done by 37.

I'm 37 now and ideally I would have been done by now.. but since we didn't get married until i was 34, had DD when I was 36 I guess I'd like to be done by 39. We want one more. I hope to begin TTC soon.....

Ideally by 35, but we're not 100% on how many we want yet (I always wanted 4, but after having 1 I wonder how people manage 4!). I'm 27 and we already have DS, so hopefully plenty of time.

I had LO #1 when I was 33 so if we go for a second, I would like to be done by 38. That said, our timing revolves around our family circumstances (financial, careers etc.) rather than age.

It would have nice to be done by 35, but that doesn't look like an option. I will probably have our last child at some point when I am 36 (so I guess the answer is 37).

@blackbird: We're the same. With #1, I will be at 28 and I'd like to have 3 but be done by 35 at the latest. I'd like 2.5 year age gaps which, if successful, would put me at 28, 30, and 33.

Ideally by 30. I'm on track if I can continue/lucky enough to have them around 2 years apart but if I have more than four I will pass that age.

I'd like to be done by the time DH is 40 (I'll be 33). We've got 7 years to make it happen.

30. #1 will be here when I'm 27 or 28 since I'm due 4 days before my birthday! We wanted 2yrs gap, so we will be pushing it now.

I'd like to be done by the time I'm 35, but it will likely be quite a few years earlier than that.

I would have liked to be done by 35. I am 35 and not sure if we are having another or not. If we do, I will be 37/38 before we start trying.
DH and I didn't meet till 29/30, but totally worth the wait!

Done giving birth before 35! I'll be 30 when I have my first, and plan to wait 2-3 years for #2 so we should be okay!

I had DS#1 at 30, and now am 31 and about 6 months from ttc#2.

@ValentineMommy: Same here. But that was also when I thought I should be getting married at 25. We didn't get married until 29 and had LO when I was 30. While I don't regret all the fun I had pre-baby, I wish we were closer to be done.
Ideally, I'll get pregnant ASAP with #2 and then have one more before I turn 35. Fingers crossed!

Ideally, 30, but I want one more baby and I'm 29 now, so my hard and fast done has moved to 35.

I had LO at 33 (just two weeks before my 34th birthday) and originally we wanted something like a 2-year age difference but we both were not prepared for that! I'm 36 now. We're thinking that we could have another one by the time LO is 4 to minimize the cost of 2 in childcare. So hopefully age 38! 39 at the latest.

Umm..... 40? Actually, I don't really care! Im 33 now and nowhere near ready to TTC #2.... and I would ideally like 3 children. I don't know! Im just going to take it as it comes!

Hopefully 38, for sure done by 40. I'll be 33 when #2 is born, hopefully 35/36 w/ #3 and 37/38 with #4.

I'm 35 now and like @mrsjazz: , I'm looking to minimize double childcare so will probably try for my second sometime next year so if things go smoothly, I hope to be done by 36. 37 at the latest.

Hopefully 36. I will have LO 2 at 34 and if there is a third, hopefully will have him/her when I am 36.

I don't really have a set time, I don't particularly care about numbers but I can't really see myself having any more after 25-30.

I never really thought about it. My mom had my brother when she was in her early 40s. I wouldn't plan to do that, but I won't rule anything out. We might be done after this one, but who knows.
And I'm 31 now.

I see myself being done around 35 but that's just due to our timeline and children spacing and not dependent on my age.

I'm hoping 35. I just turned 30 and our first is due this spring. I only want 2 and I'm hoping for a 3-4 year age gap, probably. But who knows what the future holds.
