@anyajenkins: Lol! Ah, I wish, I really do. We just have a few things that need to get checked off the list first.

Considering I'm still TTC my first child after 18 months of trying, I would tell myself to start earlier and not worry about using BC.

@bluestriped bee: Ugh, I'm sorry. It's so hard with these things, you never know until you are right in the middle of them. I hope you get your BFP soon, lady.

@PermaStudent: while I fully agree with enjoying the first 6 months of ttc and seeing how it goes, as someone who tried for 8 months I can honestly say that the amount of ladies on the ttc board who have been years in trying, the better you know your body the less stressful it actually will be.
    Good luck

We would have taken that big vacay we'd been post-pining. You know, that one we planned to take this month when I'll be 30 weeks pregnant.

I am in my pre-TTC period too! I have brought up the idea of starting to try in August, so we'll see what happens! In the next few months we have a few things on our to-do list before TTC.

    1. My husband REALLY wanted to open up Roth IRA accounts for both of us, so we just checked that off our list yesterday!
    2. Travel a little more. I may be going to Palm Springs for a long weekend this month, we may go to NYC and/or Washington DC this spring, and we are definitely going to Israel and back to Paris in December. I am kind of hoping I will be about 3 months pregnant during that trip, because I would LOVE to take a "reveal" picture in front of the Louvre or the Eiffel Tower for our announcement! Since we honeymooned in Paris last year it would be really cool to do that!
    3. I want to redo our apartment. Since our rent is so cheap and my husband wants to continue saving/investing pretty hard for the next few years, I decided to make do with what we have. I want to donate all of our dishes and finally pull out the new ones we got for our wedding, get rid of the old box spring we have, the treadmill I never use (hopefully will replace it with an elliptical, but not anytime soon), replace our two couches with one sectional, get rid of our dining table so we can use that space for baby play area, move all my makeup off of my dining table (yes, I'm so classy lol!!) to our spare room, and the biggest thing I want to do to our apartment is:
    4. GET A CAT GENIE. Oh my god my life would be so much better if I didn't have to clean up poop all the time haha!
    5. Clean the carpets

    and I think that's it!
