If you could make two upgrades to your home/apartment...

Add 3rd bedroom and our condo would be perfect for us.

A 3rd bedroom we could use as an office would be perfect! Dh and I both work from home, so he uses a corner of our bedroom and I use a corner of our living room/kitchen (open concept) and it works but we could use the extra door! Plus the extra closet/storage would be so good

Oh, and a washer/dryer in our unit. That'd be perfect

And a yard so we could just let the dogs out rather than walking them...

    1. Add a third bedroom
    2. Expand the master bathroom, which I feel lucky to even have but it's a closet.

I'd love to put hardwood floors in our living room and hallway, and if I'm really dreaming, add another bedroom. The last one will never happen in this house.

    1. Replace upstairs and lower level flooring. Our house was originally one level, then had the basement and attic finished. They have a horrible mishmash of builder grade carpet, laminate and linoleum flooring that we tried to DIY, but we did a pretty bad job.

    2. Outlets on the other kitchen walls. We have a three sided kitchen that is open to the dining area. Only one of the three walls has any outlets.

Also on the list: laundry chute, roof replacement, insulation in the upstairs, working ceiling light fixture in guest room.

    1. Pave our gravel driveway.
    2. Finish basement and laundry room.

    And then...
    3. Add master bath
    4. Turn attic into 4th bedroom
    5. Renovate kitchen

and then we will be done!

Since we live in an apartment and cant expand that way. I would say renovate the whole kitchen and add a ceiling fan to our living room

An extra room, and a bigger kitchen. We have guests over a lot and have to get creative cooking for everyone, and finding enough chairs and room at the table!

We are in a rental, so paint (doing it slowly), and redesigning how we have our dining nook to include a desk and a space to grow plants!

I wish we had a walk-in closet in our master bedroom. Our closet is too small.

Wish the carpet our landlord put in was better quality.

We rent but I would love to add central air (it's already set up for it but my landlord won't get a condenser) and a range hood for our stove! Cooking grease is gross! If I could add a third- definitely dishwasher.

It's not physically possible since we have a townhouse but I'd love an extra bedroom and an attached garage (or any garage, or any off-street parking at all!).

Realistically, the two "dream" updates for our house would be to open up the kitchen and get central air.
