My wedding was blush pink/gray/white/cream and I loved it! I probably wouldn't change it if I could do it all over again. Would you change yours?

I would keep everything the same, the only thing I might change is my veil and my photographer

there are other things i'd change, but not the colors
champagne, ivory, & buttercup yellow!

We had a fall theme with deep purples. I loved it! If I could change anything it would be my photographer.
cantaloupe / 6171 posts
no, loved our colors--grassy green, light grey, and white, with some peach and yellow accents in the flowers that brought out the colors in our venue (which I also wouldn't change!)

@banana: well for the ceremony I had a cathedral veil and wore a blusher in the front which was supposed to overlap with the cathedral veil to look like one drop veil but instead the front piece wouldnt stay around my shoulders so in some photos there was a weird gap between the two lol.. no one noticed or cared but I did
yeah my photographer sucked! he left before the wedding was over and missed tons of pictures

Our colours were dusty purple/grey/ivory. I loved the colours but would have changed other things.

I wouldn't change a single thing about my wedding day. It was amazing.
OK ONE thing... the waiter with the spanikopita would have visited me a few more times. It was the food I was most excited for and I only got one tiny piece! And that was because my MOH accosted him and told him to find the bride immediately.

Ours were black silver and purple. I thought it was great at the time but it didn't turn out like I pictured. I would probably do lighter springy colors if I could redo it

@Bao: @banana: Everyone thought I was nuts for spending what I did on my photog. Now I've got over 500 beautiful wedding photos on a copyright release CD of every moment of the wedding. That's the one thing I wouldn't change!

We had an evening, winter wedding ceremony in a schoolhouse in the woods. Our colors reflected a frosty forest; it was beautiful. I am happy with how things turned out, however non-traditional and intimate it was.
pomegranate / 3003 posts
@banana: Haha! What's a frosty forest without a butt load of glitter?
GOLD / wonderful olive / 19030 posts
I loved my colors but I was so mad at how popular dark purple came following my wedding, so I wish I would have done my orginial idea of gray and green and not listened to my mom!
Otherwise the only thing I would change was our photographer and one bridesmaid!

@deerylou: You would have deeply disappointed me if your frosty forest wasn't smothered in glitter.

I loved my colors! They were coral and gray.
I also really loved my photographer.
The only things that I would change would have been my dress and letting my husbands family push me and practically bully me into certain aspects of the wedding.

I loved everything about my wedding. We did black and white with pops of red and turquoise, with polka dots a slightly Halloween feel. We got married at dusk in a 1920s vaudeville theatre and it was amazing. Still love everything about it.
I may have been more specific about what I wanted with the florist and the cake people though. I would just tweak though, not change.

I loved everything but I would probably use a different venue. They were a PITA to work with! I might choose different colors too even though I loved our green and pink wedding.

It was several years ago but I still think black/white/stem green and a nature theme was perfect for us.

@deerylou: We had a sparkly, wintery forest wedding too! And we still find a crap ton of glitter all over our house almost two years later. Did you get married during December as well?
Our colors were silver, gray, and white with dark purple and silvery purple flowers. I wouldn't change a thing about our wedding!

@grizz: How neat; I'd love to see a picture of your flowers! We got married in mid January, on what would end up being the coldest night of the season. We were originally planning an outdoor, June wedding, but when we discovered we were pregnant, we bumped it up quite a few months. We planned everything in six weeks, and, looking back, are sooo glad we had a winter wedding. It was definitely more "us".
Our colors were cocoa brown, ivory, silver (the sparkles!), and mint/frosty green. Our decor and "feel" were inspired by this bouquet:

@banana: my colors were blush pink, cream, brown and burlap. Close to yours!
I would not change my wedding or my dress or my decor or anything really. The only things I would change is my weight and the grooms suit. I wanted him to wear a creamish linen suit but my parents insisted on khaki.
coconut / 8299 posts
@anonysquire: Did the khaki suit match the rest of your wedding decor? I wanted my husband to wear a pink tie but he vetoed that idea. haha. He wore a cream tie instead. boooring....

Our wedding was my first DIY event planning experience so there are alot of things I think I'd change (given I have more experience now), but I still loved everything... I guess now it'd just be a more elevated version of what we had.
nectarine / 2217 posts
@banana: our wedding colours were essentially the same as yours! I loved them too and still do:) dh consented to the blush pink tie with the dark grey suit phew! Hehe
coconut / 8299 posts
@tysonja: Jelly! That's what I wanted! (pink with dark gray suit). At least he had a pink rose boutineere so we met in the middle. (Had to look up how to spell boutineere...not even sure it's spelled correctly).
ETA: Never mind..The spelling is all off.
nectarine / 2217 posts
@banana: hahah i can't spell it either so i totally didn't notice hehe
yay for awesome wedding colours!

@banana: yes!! october 2nd! in vancouver.... we totally were playing with fire with respect to that --- it can be miserably rainy here during that time. but it was a gorgeous warm day

I'd change other things, but not our colors - we did grass green, blue and raspberry. DH and I both love green, so we have a lot in our house and we are using similar colors (green, blue, and pink) to decorate the nursery for our LO.

I loved our dark green, silver, and white (in the winter) theme. I missed a few photos that I would have loved - like, the groomsmen all snuck into a bar and took shots while the girls were taking photos down the street.
I would love to have another wedding (to DH) so I could do a spring wedding with coral and navy though!! XD

The only thing I would change about our wedding is I wouldn't have gotten so drunk. I had no clue the bartenders were giving me Sweet Tea Vodka straight.
pomegranate / 3452 posts
@deerylou: that bouquet is gorgeous!
We had a barn wedding and our colors were yellow/white/black. Maybe if we did it again I'd just do a bright multicolor palate.
papaya / 10473 posts
@deerylou: We had the same inspiration bouquet! Let me find a pic of mine
ETA - found em!

I loved my wedding colours and would choose them again today - navy, pale pink, and ivory. Timeless and elegant, loved them!
