I accidentally blew someone's HelloBee cover. My friend sent me one of his coworker's blogs and I thought I recognized a picture from it so I asked him if she was on HelloBee. Yep, she's a blogger here! In hindsight I probably should have just remained mum. Though I'm pretty sure my friend has no interest in stalking either one of our posts on a mommy blog.

I did...on HB. I put two and two together with similar posts on HB and FB. I would want to know for sure.

No, because if the friend wanted to share in real life they would share. Just know you got the scoop, but don't gossip about to mutual friends and don't bring it up.

i think it would depend on the posts. i would look through them first and if i felt like she wasn't being too private i would mention it.

Yes! I recognized my friend's picture on here so emailed her to tell her I'm on here too and tell her my screen name

If it was a FRIEND, yes. Sites like this, if I realized someone was a friend, then we're both in the same boat (TTC or preg) and I would probably say "this is weird but is XXXX on HB you?" and then be excited that we could share with each other.

If I didn't say anything, I would feel bad, like I was stalking them!

If it was not a real-life close friend and was someone whose blog I followed or a twitter friend, I might DM them but I would be less apt to jump to it.

I had someone who I am social media friends with text me to ask if I was KJfromNJ I wasn't mad, I was relieved! It's kind of nice to be "found out" by someone who also uses the site. But if it was found out by someone who was just lurking then that would be sketchy.
