A friend once got me an amazing carrot cake from a local bakery...it was SO good. And they had a white cake with strawberry filling and chocolate strawberries on top. YUM.
My birthday is in a couple of weeks and I have no idea what cake I will request. Maybe I will have DH get me a carrot cake and then when we celebrate with fam I will get another, and then when we go out with friends I will have cheesecake. haha. Oh man I love cake.

White cake with sweet sweet icing. Like the icing we had as kids and parents always complained of being too sweet.

I'd have the baker who made our wedding cake make me a raspberry vanilla swirl cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. Our cake lady made the best cake I've ever tasted...I ate 4 pieces at the wedding

I requested a fruit tart but she didn't have the time to make it before today so she made me a deliciously moist chocolate cake with chocolate ganoche. Yum Yum!
But I'm definitely keeping this list for next year!
